Metallurgy in Ukraine is a key industry. It produce about 30% of total value of industry production. But competitity of ukrainian metal is low in comparison with european or russian one. At first it binds with low technical level of cast iron production. It is necessary to increase a quality and decrease the cost of cast iron. Following measures can help to decide this problem: increasing campaign life of blast furnace; high quality ferrous burden materials; coal injection ( over 200 kg/thm ); high coke quality and others.
