The founder of faculty " Enrichments of minerals " of Donetsk state technical university. Was the manager by faculty with 1927 for 1938.
Has brought in the large contribution to research coal of Donbass. The results of his researches were fixed in a basis of a new geological chemistry card of Donbass and were used at designing the first factories on enrichment of coal.
In 1935 the professor Emmanuil Meller has published the monography "Теория исследований каменных углей на обогатимость"("the Theory of researches hard coals on washability").
