Short biography:
I, Udovik Olga Viktorovna, was born on 14 May 1984 in city of Donetsk.
In 1991 I went to school. When I was a schoolgirl I liked to study the following subjects: drawing, mathematics, history and chemistry. I began to visit the group of graphic arts in the sixth year. Our teacher, Svetlana Nikolayevna, made school exhibitions of our paintings. My works were exposed in Donetsk local museum. When I was 13 I won the first prize in town Olympiad in history. I also went in for basketball. Being a pupil I learnt to design fashioned clothes. I also was interested in chemistry and curious about changing different kind of substance and doing experiments. I won the second place on the town Olympiad in chemistry. It was difficult to make a choice about my future speciality. My parents advised me to study "Automatic control of technological processes and productions" in Donetsk State Technical University. When I finished school with a golden medal I had already been a student because I had passed the preliminary test in mathematics.
When I studied at University I won a university Olympiad in descriptive geometry. I took part in SevGTU conference of Sevastopol city. I wrote an article “Automation of technological processes by preparation of mined rock to extraction” which rewarded a special diploma.
When I was a third-year student the teacher of the department “Mining electrotechnics and automation” Gavrilenko Boris Vladimirovich became my supervisor. He suggested me to investigate combine location in longwall. The remote control of coal combine excludes any presence of miners in the technological process of coal extraction. So the university gave me a lot of profound knowledge.
In May 2005 I took part in the fifth international research conference «Automation technological objects and processes. Searching for young talented scientists»conducted for graduate students and postgraduate students. The title of my paper was «Device to determine the location and velocities of the combine on the base of the microcontroller». I received the diploma of bachelor in "Automation and computer-integrated technologies" with excellent marks in summer 2005.
In autumn 2005 I also participated in contest of student scientific works in DonNTU and got a special diploma for the paper «Development of a device to check the location of coal combine in longwall».
After passing the master’s paper I am going to work in “Avtomatgormash of after V.A. Antipov” in the department of automation coal machines where I was offered to work in autumn 2004.
