I leaned reading before I was 6, and that helped me greatly when I started school. I was
interested in information science, mathematics and literature. I had no problems with learning.
I am always fond of reading and curious by nature. I left school in 2001 and got school-leaving
certificate with excellent marks.
In 2001 I entered Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU) to study automatic control
of technological processes (department "Mining Electrotechnics and Automation"). I received
profound engineering preparation and studied computer technologies on a high professional
level. I had practical training in research laboratories of DonNTU since 2002 to 2004.
In 2005 I became Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology and Automation. When
studying I got only A's.
In 2005 I was enrolled in the Master Department of DonNTU. Assistant professor, Ph.D.
Kostyantyn Marenych, a head of the department "Mining Electrotechnics and Automation",
agreed to become my scientific supervisor. This highly talented scientific and professional
teacher pays a lot of attention to scientific work with students and stimulates their
independent scientific search. The theme of my Master's thesis is "The research of
processes in low-voltage electrotechnical complex of a technological mine section during
simultaneous working of asynchronous motors and development of the automatic protection system". In 2005 I had Master's practical work in electric drive laboratory of DonNTU.
I have an experience in designing new computer models of electrotechnical systems; programming
on Visual Basic (with use Win API) and Assembler. I'm fond of both electrotechnical creative
work, theatre, reading and walking.
After receiving Master's degree, I would like to get the post-graduate study at DonNTU.
CURRICULUM VITAE
My name is Sviatoslav Vasylets. I was born on the 19th of June 1984 in Donetsk, Ukraine.
Both my father and mother got their education at Donetsk Medical Institute. As my mother
worked, I had to be taken to a nursery school when I was 5 years old. 
When I was a student I participated in 15 scientific conferences, including 12 international
ones. I have got 8 diplomas. In 2006 I have been rewarded with the diploma for the best
student scientific work by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. I have been the
co-author of 21 articles and one methodical instructions.
