Short biography:

I was born on the 22nd of January 1984 in the city of Donetsk. My parents were Soviet engineers who had graduated from Donetsk Polytechnic Institute ( now DonNTU). My mother Valentina Victorovna and my father Grigory Marcovich brought me up. My father’s parents were irrepressible as to their wish to take part in the process and they still are like this. According to the time requirements my mother had to come back at work and I had to go to kindergarten though I didn’t demonstrate much eagerness for that as my freedom was restrained there and I started to hate cooked semolina, skinned milk and shouting tutors.
Unfortunately, because of constant moves and the difficulties of the time I had to change a great number of kindergartens and schools and it was not quite pleasant. I was lucky as to the teachers. May be due to the fact that both of my grannies were teachers and they had a part in choosing the form-masters. I started with the school ¹ 95 in Kalininsky District, then moved to the school ¹ 92 in Tekstylshchik. I was studying at the school ¹122 in Donskoy Micro-district from the fifth form till graduation. I finished school with the gold medal and numerous diplomas on school disciplines in 2001. When studying in the senior forms I had a brilliant teacher on mathematics. So there was not any need in additional classes and course attendance for me to get high score in the mathematics rating competition at DonNTU. Classes at school and lessons my mother gave me at home were sufficient. The same situation was with physics, information science, languages, and history. And again it was due to my teachers and my fanatic diligence. I had a dream, however, to become a student and change my life. It became a reality.
My brother, Grach Alexey, studies in Donetsk National Technical University at Faculty of Economy and Management. He is a fan of a football team "Shakhtar". With "Shakhtar" he visited whole Ukraine and Europe.
I chose my major myself. This choice was not related to the fact that my mother’s major was Applied Mathematics (AM-5) at all. I don’t feel sorry about it as programming is my business. It’s not easy to study, but I like it very much. I like to be clever in all spheres, struggle with myself and win, feel great satisfaction for the work done independently and know that “I really can”.
New friends I found at the Institute, new hobbies and the chance to change myself were not less important.
I have been travelling much since my childhood. First it was travelling with my parents: Caucasus, Crimea – mountains, sea, fresh air and physical conditioning; then – with my younger brother –to my granny who lives in Israel. We were traveling across the whole country and touched the most ancient history.
During my years of strudying at the University I visited the international student campuses in Lithuania (2003), Norway (2204), and Great Britain (2005) which was in the framework of the programme of the International Association LIONS CLUBS. The impressions are indelible. I was speaking only English with the young people of my age from all countries of the world, and on coming back home it was difficult to recollect Russian! It’s cool to find out about the history, culture, and way of life of another country, its economic and political level! In summer of 2005 I had the internship at the company «Ostroj-Hansen + Reinders», Opava, Czech which specializes in design and full-scale production of the mine explosion-proof equipment. I was a probationer engineer at the design department. I dealt with the Russian language technical documentation for the export samples of the company’s products, and ads and covering documentation for the goods exhibition samples. Besides, I had to make corrections in the technical documentation for the conveyer APD-1 automation equipment in connection with the certain manufacturing technology and prepare the Russian audio version of commands and information which the equipment software contains. The social programme was interesting. Our supervisor- the company’s Vice-Director Peter Petrushka- took part in it. We found out about the culture and national traditions of the country. We visited Ostrava, Prague, Brno, Karlovy Vary, the Gradets castle on Morava, had a trip up to the mountains. My impressions of the Czech and its people are nice. These trips influenced my personality’s forming and the I. I stared thorough thinking about my life and future plans.
The topic of my Master paper is «The organization’s Model as the Artificial Intellectual System for the Knowledge Based Analysis and Control», Oleg Ivanovich Fedyayev, an Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Information Science. The role of the knowledge in management of the modern companies in which the labour-intensive processes are interchanged by the science- intensive ones is examined in the paper.
As to my future, I would like to graduate from the University Master programme, find and interesting and well-paid job, and be a modern businesswoman.
