My GPA (grade point average) is 4.85/5.00. I know Russian and Ukrainian as native languages. I have strong reading and writing skills in English. I have 1-year working experience as a Visual C++ developer under MS Windows using MFC, ADO. Also I have experience in programming in Perl, PHP, Lisp, Prolog, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Java, using of databases MS Access, Oracle, MySQL. I have a great interest in Java programming. My hobbies are dancing and music.

Biography

I was born 26 July 1984 in Bila Tserkva town, Kiev region. It is native town of my mother Irina Stavtseva. Right after my birth I was taken to Donetsk, where my family have lived. By that time my mother had graduated from DPI (DonNTU now) and she was working at computer facility of Donetk Railway. My father, Nikolay Khromov, chemist-mechanical engineer was working at Avdeevka's by-product coke plant. I also have a sister Anna. She is 2 years older then me.

At the age of 2 I began to attend kindergarten. At the same period I visited English, rhythmic, painting and musical classes at the Children Aesthetic School in the Donetsk Palace of Culture. Teachers said I had a success in learning English and music. So my mother consider it would be better to improve these talents and sent me to Children Musical School #1 and The English Specialized Common School #2.

When I was 10 I decided to start my dancing classes. This became my hobby till nowadays. I had a lot of concerts with my dancing group in squares, parks, schools, colleges. There I had earned my first salary: it was traveling allowance for the concert outside of the city.

At the primary school I enjoyed English classes very much. Our teacher Polyakova Svetlana Yakovlevna made her best to raise our interest in this language. We had many specialized English classes. At this time I dreamt to become a translator.

By the 9th year studying at the school I started thinking seriously about my future profession. I was inspired by my father to try my skills in chemistry.

So I continued studying in school #17. It is one of the best physico-mathematical schools of the city. At the first few months I had difficulties with some subjects. But soon I overcame them. I was really happy to meet many talented teachers there. One of them is the Honored teacher of mathematics Vladimir Ivanovich Lysov. All time he taught us not to waste our time seeking for good marks, but to learn how to think.

In this school I had first real meeting with computers and Informatics. We had well equipped class with Internet access. The great power of computers and Internet inspired me so much that I decided to be a programmer.

At that time I was go in for basketball. We had interesting training and that helped to reach success at the 11th form competitions.

The last year of studying passed and I entered the Donetsk National Technical Univercity. I had no hesitation about university I would like to enter. My decision was formed under friends’ and relatives’ advises.

My first impressions were connected with large lecture halls and interesting specialized subjects. I should mark methods of teaching English there. They had good structure with training of speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar skills of students.

By the middle of 4th year of studying I got a job as a C++ developer in «Maus Software». There I participate in project or calculation and design of machine details «MDESIGN mechanical». I think I got a good experience here, that will help me in future.

The theme of my master thesis is of Computer Graphics field. I thin that this subject is not fully explored, and it has some gaps to fill in. In the nearest future I am planning to get a master degree and continue education in one of European Universities and to get a well-paid job there.
