I take a great interest in music, films, aircraft and military technics.

Childhood and school years

I was born on 12th of October 1984 in Donetsk, Ukraine.

My father, Kornev Alexander, is flight engineer.

My mother, Korneva Galina, works as a referent for the insurance company.

I went to school 44 at the age of six years and never had any trouble learning. My favorite subjects were physics and mathematics and of course I also liked English a lot. I have started learning English at the first classes and continued till I graduated from school. I often took part in different English competitions so now I had a lot of awards for taking 1st and 2nd places. At school I fell into the habit of reading a lot. I took for reading story books, books about nature and of course adventures which I think were my favorites. I enjoyed reading and gulped down books by dozens. In senior classes I took for reading classics both Russian and foreign.

After I had graduated from 7th form of secondary school I decided to enter the Donetsk Technical Lyceum, so I had passed two examinations: physics and mathematics, and entered the DTL. Donetsk Technical Lyceum was a special school providing more specific education. There I had got a working profession of a computer operator and also got enough education to enter the Donetsk National Technical University. While I was studying in lyceum my parents bought me a computer – Pentium2. From that time almost nothing had interested me except the computer. In my first year I was playing different games mostly but then I had started programming it and found it very interesting. So I decided to connect my life with computing and my choice of university and specialty was not casual.

University

It happened in 2001. I entered the Donetsk National Technical University. In the first year it was quite difficult to study but after some time I got used to it and from the 3rd course everything seemed fun and easy. At the second course I entered the military department of DonNTU, so now I am a junior lieutenant.

In 2005 I got the bachelor honours diploma and continued studying in the magistracy.

I had my practical training in “DonbassAero” Air Company so there’s no wonder that thematic of my dissertation is connected with airlines - “Development of decision support system for passenger airlines management in “DonbassAero” Air Company”. I have spent a lot of time choosing my scientific adviser, but now I’m sure that my choice of Sporihin Viktor Yakovlevich was just the right one.

Plans for future

When I think about my plans for future I can hardly think about more then several years ahead, but what I know for sure is that I have to get my master diploma and find a good and well-paid job that will be interesting for me and where I could use all my knowledge that I’ve got during education in University. And after that, who knows, maybe I will work at some computer company in Eastern Europe? I think it would be quite good.
