Biography:

Family
I was born on the 26th of June 1984 in a small town Snegnoye, which is situated in Donetsk region. My mother is Prokhorova Catherine Vasilievna, works at Snezhnyansky machine-building plant "Motor Sich". My father is Prokhorov Vyacheslav Viktorovich, he worked at Snezhnyansky plant of chemical machine building, but, regrettably, his life was prematurely stopped in 2000 due the accident on the plant. I also have an elder sister - Prokhorova Nataliya Vyacheslavovna, who graduated from DonNTU in 2004 on speciality «Metal-cutting machine tools and systems» and now she works as a technologist at the plant "Donbass-Elektromotor". My parents, as the majority of the people in the Soviet Union, were ordinary workers. Evidently because of that they have been convincing me since the childhood that it is necessary to study and to graduate from a university in order to achieve success in life.

Childhood
At the most early age I was sent into a creche, then I was sent to a kindergarten. I have pleasant memories connected with the years in kindergarten. I especially remember celebrations. I also remember very well vacation on sea, because I loved it very much and I still love it. In the kindergarten I was an active and capable child, who participated in all activities.

School
In 1990 at the age of 6 I went to the first class of the comprehensive school number 5 in Snezhnoye. Being diligent, I always studied well. I was pleased with good marks and praises of the teachers, so my parents were also glad.
My first teacher - Kuzimenko Maria Nikolaevna remained as a very bright person in my memory. She was kind, but at the same time strict, she taught me to be persevering, patient and have aspiration for studying.
I liked the music and dance very much, so I persuaded my parents to entitle me to the dance group "Snowflake", where I studied for 8 years.
After the first class my sister and I were in the camp «The Eaglet" in Snezhnoye during our summer holidays. I liked it very much, so the next four years I went to the camp in Berdyansk «The Surf» and "Friendship" in Dnepropetrovsk. There I got first, but important lessons of life and realized myself quite an independent person.
At school I was nearly always an excellent pupil, who took active part in all school activities.
As I studied well I took part in annual competitions at school and town on different subjects (mathematics, physics, chemistry, geography, the Russian language and literature, the Ukrainian language and literature).
It was easy for me to study. When I was in the 5th form I attended the circle "Skilful hands", where I studied to do pictures from straw, foils and paper.
In the 6th form I attended the circle of artistic art.
My parents were very happy for me and were proud of me. They understood me and, if they could, they helped me with pleasure.
I finished successfully nine classes and decided to continue education in physics-mathematical class. That meant studying such exact science as physics, computing, mathematics, electrical engineering.
In the 10th form I became the player of the school team "Brain-ring" and a participant of KVN. The same year our team of KVN won the first place on the town competition, where 23 teams participated. I took active part in the organizations of concerts, school holiday and decoration of the school.
At the beginning of 11th form tragedy happened in my family - my father died. I could not recover from this event during a long time, but life lasted. I started to attend preparatory courses on mathematics in order to enter university. Exact sciences were easy for me, so I certainly, made my choice on DonNTU.
I tried to enter according to pre-exams on faculty of energymechanics and automatisations on specialties «Automated management production» and «Ecology of metallurgy», but I didn’t receive required number of points.
In 2001 I graduated from school. I had such marks as 11 and 12, and only in English I had 10. According to the summer exams I entered three specialities at the same time, but I made a decision to follow my sister’s and parents’ steps and to study on mechanical faculty on speciality: «Metal-cutting machine tools and systems».

University
Entering the university I was indulged into a new wave, full of bright impressions, new acquaintances and variety of life event. Since the first week I have settled in a student hostel number 4, where I am still living.
My first impressions of the university were positive. Thanks to this university I have an opportunity to communicate with the most great professors, doctors of sciences, assistant professors, who teach here. They are always ready to share their knowledges with us, students, to help us to choose the right goals and find an appropriate life way.
During the first years of study I was interested in such subjects, as computing and higher mathematics. Among technical discipline of sciences I liked theoretical mechanics and engineering and computer graphics most of all.
On the 3-rd course, I started to study the subjects on my speciality. The most interesting were: theory of the cutting, cutting instrument, the metal-cutting equipment etc.
During education I also studied such programs as, MathCAD, AutoCAD, T-Flex, Compass 3D.
After the first course I went to the students camp "The Silver bugle" in Svyatogorsk. Again new acquaintances, new impressions.
In winter 2004, having successfully passed exams, I went to Kiev in prophylactic hostel of Kiev Polytechnic University.
After the third course, passing summer practice I was given an opportunity to improve my health in the student camp "The Petrel" on The Azov sea. They were unforgettable moments in my life.
Having finished the fourth course with a red diploma and having several good marks in a test book, I decided to take master’s degree course. My supervisor on scientific work is the chair man of a department professor Matyuha Petr Grigorievich who offered me to study working surfaces of diamond circle. He impresses me with his optimism and hard work.
The Fifth course is in the same tradition: many events, trips, actions, and an absolute lack of time. At this moment I am working over the theme "Improvement the way of the study parameters of working surfaces diamond circles by the profilography method ". The choice of this theme was conditioned by my previous research work under the supervision of Cokur Viktor Panteleevich.

Plans for the future
I am going to deal with my master’s work the following 6 months. In future I am planning to master a foreign language, and successfully defend my master’s work and to become a highly skilled specialist. After graduating from the university I would like to find interesting work. Being quickly trained, I think that I will cope with everything my life will face me with.
