Rational use of water in a circulating water supply at the coke-processing works.

In the large industrial districts of the world the rivers largely represent the mixture of circulating waters of different cleaning degree, and some of them are not suitable for the further usage.

With the purpose of diminishing the fence of clean water in the water-supply source and protecting it from contamination a wide use is found by the circulating water systems [3].

On chemical industry enterprises the main part in a water supply is acted by the circulating water systems. Warmed in a heat-exchange machine the circulating water is cooled down on ãðàäèðíÿõ or by another equipment and is put into warm exchange machines by pumps of circulations. Thus it is repeatedly and consistently effected by physical and chemical influence – it’s evaporated, heated, cooled down, aired, it repeatedly gets on a cooling surface, as a result it is partly lost during the evaporation process and drop taking away into the atmosphere and gradually becomes more mineralized. Often the water stability is violated here. It becomes corrosive or able to store the salt, gradually dust and corrosion products accumulate in it. Therefore in order to lessen the circulating water loss and to improve its quality, the circulating water systems get additional water, which differs in quality [1].

A circulating water-supply can be presented as one system for the whole industrial enterprise or as separate circulating cycles for one workshop or a group of them. The amount of the circulating water systems on an enterprise is set taking into account features and character of production, destiny of water, requirements to its quality, temperature, pressure. At the decision of this question the general layout of enterprise, the location of water users, and also accordance of techno economical indexes of different variants, is taken into account on general plan. In the ordinary circulating water systems that do not have specific contaminations of technological products, preventing the increase of circulating water mineralisation is possible by means of blowing out (casting up a part of circulating water) and by means of feeding water addition into the systems. Except the corrosion firmness, water must correspond to optimum narrow pH interval and to have small maintenance of salts in water [1].

In a turn, three categories of waters, which correspond to the basic charts of circulating water supply, can be used. The first chart is used if water is not contaminated, and is only heated and its thermo stability chages.

The second chart is when water is contaminated by different components.

The third chart is represented when water, which is in the circulating loop, is heated and contaminated.

The process of reagents treatment of water takes place considerably more effectively. So, during the reagent method the besieging of the self-weighted matters bulk takes 2-4 hours, and during the not reagent method it takes a few days [2].

On the Open Joint Stock Company “Avdeevskiy Coke-processing Works” the chart of circulating water-supply with water cooling is used.
