Short biography:

Childhood

I was born on 21 June 1985 in Snezhnoye, Donetsk region in the family of workers. My mother, Gromoklitskaya Nina Ivanovna, works as an auto dispatcher at “Shakhtyorskoye-Glubokoye” of state enterprise “Shakhtyorskantratsit”. She has a higher technical education. Mt father, Gromoklitsky Ivan Vladimirovich, left our family in 1987. I spent my childhood and youth in Shakhtyorsk. When I was 2.5 years old I went to a kindergarten. I was a thin but a pugnacious boy.

School

In 1992 I went to school ¹1 of Shakhtyorsk. My first teacher Pyslar Nina Nikolayevna was a very strict teacher, and she punished for pranks. I studied as all the children. My mother contributed a lot in my education, I am extremely grateful to her. I participated in sports competitions in athletics. I took some prizes in school and camp competitions. After the 9th form I decided to continue studies, as I couldn’t find in technical schools of Shakhtyorsk the profession I wanted. I also had several satisfactory marks. In the tenth form one day a week was devoted to acquiring some profession. Thus, parallel to school I attended training-production centre, where I went in for automobile engineering. Due to this by the end of my school studies when I was 17 I had received a driving license of “C”-category. In the 11th form I attended retraining courses and got the certificate of a computer operator. When I learned about the preliminary courses in DonNTU I started attended them at weekends. After that I passed the entrance interview with the good mark. I chose a speciality in coal-mining engineering as in our town there are a lot of mines, so I after graduation I could easily find a job in the chosen career.

University

My first impression of the university was formed during my working practice in hostel ¹6, where I settled later. There were 4 “Mining of Mineral deposits” groups. It was very interesting to study. In the evenings about 10 students gathered in our room, so mathematics, technical drawing, chemistry and other subjects had another go. After the first year we had a training practice at a mine. Of course, we were not taken to a drifting or a face, maybe they didn’t want to frighten us. Beginning with the second year of studies I started to work in my free time – I worked in a students building brigade, as a loader, security guard, general worker. After the second year I started working at “Shakhtyorskoye-Glubokoye” mine, where I was an apprentice at the conveyor transport sector. I also got a qualification of an underground miner. During my third year I was not already afraid of work, I was even enjoying it. Especially I was enjoying my life in a hostel. It is a special and inseparable part of my university years, and I can talk about it infinitely, especially as our hostel is a mining one. After the third year of studies I decided to work at a mine, but in a face or drifting, as I wanted to familiarize with the main processes inside the mine and to earn some money. In the personnel department I was suggested a place in the first production unit. It was the most difficult work I had ever had. Especially hard this work was due to intolerable temperature (the depth of workings was over 1300m). Several weeks later I was already used to it and decided to continue working. In the beginning there were 4 groups of 30 students, at the end on the 4th year there were only 3 groups of 20 students. I tried to pass my exams on time and was quite successful. At the end of the 4th year I got a bachelor degree. With this diploma I continued working already as a mining engineer at the department of ventilation and accidents prevention.

I try not to plan my future, as the plans can fail. Let everything takes its normal course.
