NIKITOVSKOE ORE FIELD


Research object – Nikitovskoe ore field.

The article of research is maintenance of mercury in soil, water and air on Nikitovskom deposit.

Purpose of work: study the geological structure of Nikitovskoe ore field and find out how ore bodies influence on maintenance of mercury in soil and it is negative affects the of health of people.

Main tasks of research: to select the tests of soils, coals, water on a deposit, to conduct their analysis and define whether the concentration of mercury exceeds the set normsin soil.

Scientific novelty of the received results: Nikitovskoe ore field is unique territory from the scientific point of view, where it is possible immediately to study the geological structure of deposit, and also changes of contents of mercury with a delete from ore bodies, its accumulation in soils, water and organism of man.

Practical value: geological researches on Nikitovskoe ore field began at the end of a 19 age, but results of researches, received today also allow to estimate an ecological situation on a deposit. The proper conclusions about contamination of environment are done On the basis of the received results of probe of soils.

Personal endowment of author: author of the research took part in the conducted field works at the end of July (26.07.05 – 01.08.05), namely, selected the tests of soils. The author of the research was published the article on a theme: “Mercury in coals of Nikitovskoe ore field” in 2005.

Nikitovskoe ore field is located in central part of the Donetsk pool on territory of the Gorlovskij and Dzerzhinskij region of the Donetsk oblast. It is prolate in the north-western sending to distance an about 20 km along vault area of the Gorlovskaya anticline. Rock on the wings of anticline fall to the north under the corner of 55-600, to the south-65-700.

A plicate structure is broken break a secret. Vault areas of the Gorlovskaya anticline are most deployed. Series of the imposed plicate structures the second order (cupols) distinctly selected here. Central group very similar to each other of local folds has the most essential meaning in ðóäîðàñïðåäåëåíèè. Cupols are east traced westerly: Black hillock, Black Kurganka, Spool, Sofievskij and New. These structures are disposed on equal distances from each other (1,4 km). On two more large imposed structures, accordingly Dyleevskaya and Dzerzhinskaya, Chegarnikskaya and Kirovskaya place to east and to the west from central part of the ore field.

Large break a secret of type Axial, Secant, Zheleznyanskogo and other was rendered the deciding influencing on placing of industrial deposits of mercury. Cracks solutions were directed from deep horizons upwards on the labyrinth of branching. In vault parts of cupols, where a great volume of cracks was, the maximal amount of solutions must was walk up. Here on the way they met obstacle as carbonaceous-clay material of coverings clay slates. Concentration of solutions took a place in such areas and subsequent crystallization of the matters contained in them.

In 90th the output of mercury was stopped, but there is enough the ecologically broken territory. In all on Nikitovskoe ore field it was obtained more than 30000 t mercuries. Mercury is an element of the first class of danger, included in the group of most active çàãðÿçíèòåëåé of soils and other components of environment. It has high migratory characteristics. In periods of tectonic activation a mercury entered from a mantle on deep break a secret and formed not only mercury deposits but also dispersed in the rock of coal bearing layer. Unby chance in coals of Donbassa maintenance of mercury arrives at 0,5 g/t and more.

Ecological problems in Donbass accumulated long time, since 1795, when industrial development of coals of region . Negative changes of surrounding natural environment of the Donetsk domain acquire irreversible nature, that negatively influences on a health and life-span population. In Donbass all more children give birth with a cerebral paralysis. Heavy metals are instrumental in development of this disaster, such as mercury lead. Dumps of Nikitovskij plant, containing mercury, lead and other toxic metals, are satiated by considerable areas ten of years. Mercury strikes the mainly nervous system. And a woman the organism of which is saturated these metals in the total gives birth a child with a cerebral paralysis.

The permanent monitoring of presence of mercury in the objects of environment is therefore needed, and also conducting of row of measures on the removal of mercury danger. For providing of chemical and biological safety of population of Donbass it is necessary to organize a supervision and control after the circulation of chemical and biological matters on territory of domain, including as an obligatory component internal environment of organism of man. It will allow to produce strategy and tactic in the appraisal of cause, diagnostics, displays, treatment and prophylaxis of all of spectrum of chemical and biological diseases.

Faculty of minerals and ecological geology DNTU and Geological service the USA have begun joint researches of influence of connections of mercury on health of people and attempts of an estimation of a risk level for health of inhabitants of Gorlovka of long contact with minerals and waters which contain mercury.

During of the project fulfilment under the program of Fund the USA of Civil researches, sampling coal, soil, underground and elevated waters and their analysis on the maintenance of mercury is supposed. It is supposed to study distribution of mercury in samples of clothes of the workers working on Nikitovka mercury plant, and also in clothes and the blood of inhabitants of Gorlovka living nowadays in its vicinities. Attempt to find correlation of the received data and parameters of health of the population of city will be made.
