I am Kolesnik Ekaterina Vladimirovna, was born on January, 5th, 1986, in Donetsk city. My parents:
Kolesnik Olga Petrovna and Kolesnik Vladimir Nikolaevich, have a technical education and work at metallurgical
works.

An 1992 I started to study at comprehensive school ¹ 46 in the city of Donetsk. In 1999 my family moved and I
began to study at comprehensive school ¹ 22. I studied well, giving preferences to the natural sciences and foreign language.
From the childhood I wished to become a dentist. When I was 12 years old I felt great interest for English and that is why I considered to
learn English. So I read a lot of books by English authors. But my interest to the exact sciences has not gone.
To make a decision to enter the DNTU and to get a high education, certainly the parents` influence helped me. Stories about exact mechanisms,
their inventors and benefits they bring impressed me and I firmly decided that my occupation would be connected with mechanics. Certainly, I realized
that it is not a feminine speciality and it would not be easy for me, but I got used to achieving my aims. I had to study drawing myself because we
were not taught this subject at school. My parents helped me and explained the things which were not clear for me and I am very grateful for it. And they
are proud that I am following family traditions.
I have entered the Mechanical faculty of DonNTU in 2002 on a speciality "mechanical equipment of factories of ferrous metallurgy ". To study it was
not simple. But my love for natural sciences and likeliness for discovering and inventing has served as a good support and helped in achievement of the
basic purpose - gaining the high technical education. In 2006 the manipulator vas invented and patented by the group of authors (including teachers and
students of our university), and I took part in the research of the above said group.
I received a bachelor`s degree in 2006 and decided to continue my studying and doing a master's degree.
A theme of my master`s work is:
" Development and calculation of the manipulator for sweeping change of an immersion sleeve on Slab Continuous casting blanks Machine ".
My master`s research supervisor is Dr. of tech. sciences, prof. of MOZCHM department Yeronko Sergey Petrovich.
In the future I wish to get a master`s degree. Further I am going to get a good and qualified job, become successful and certainly make a career growth.
