TO QUESTION FOR DETERMINATION OF TOTAL CUTTING FORCE ON COAL CUTTER DESTRUCTION ORGANS

It is adduce a method for the definition a contact corner of destruction organ with a horizontal axis rotation by coal cutter           By determination performance criteries of coal cutter (CC) the power of coal massif cuttin by the organs of destruction (OD) has an important value. For CC, equipped worms or drums with the horizontal axis of rotation, this size for the calculations of the applied character can be determinate by the formula, kWt [1]: where Fu- total average cutting force, N; Vp - OD cutting speed, m/s;           For determination of size dependence is used: where ky2 - influencing coefficient of contact size backward OD with the destroyed seampack to force of cutting; koc - coefficient of coal massif loosening; Zcp.i - mean value of cutting force on one chisel i-group of chisels, N; ni - a chisel amount in i-group, pcs.; m – an amount of chisels groups. At determination , the size of which depends of the value of second OD scope corner by the pack of the destroyed massif, four variants are possible, which can high-quality characterize the OD location in the seam. These variants are represented on a picture: Where H - seam thickness, m; D - diameter of OD, m; Formulas for determination of backward OD scope corner of destroyed massif pack presented in a table: This formulas complement a method, resulted in [1], that allows to shorten time in implementation calculations with proper level of exactness.
