Short biography:

My name is Konchenko Ekaterina. I was born on the 22nd of March, 1986 in the city of Donetsk.

Mum – Konchenko Olga Nikolaevna, was born on the 1st of June, 1960 in the surprising city of Sterletomak (Bashkiria), and then has moved to Berdyansk …

The daddy – Konchenko Valeriy Viktorovich, was born on the10th of December, 1960 in the village Bogatyr in Velikonovoselkovskiy district of Donetsk area.

From 1977 to 1982 my parents studied in the Kharkov road institute, in 1981 they have got married. On the 1st of March, 1983 my senior sister – Elena was born. And in 3 years and 3 weeks, on the 22nd of March, 1986 there was a grandiose event –I was born!! I was named Kate by my sister. Now mum works as realtor in agency "Zhilkom", the daddy – as the main mechanic in Donetsk road-building enterprise #17.

Parents have learned me to respect grown-up people, to be polite, always and everywhere to remain the person!!! And also not to be afraid of difficulties, to see in all vital situations the positive side.

In 1988 "voluntary - compulsorily" I have been given to a kindergarten "Fairy tale" # 253. Most of all in the kindergarten I liked the nature corner. Meaningly I remember myself since 4th years. I was the terrible fidget that gave fun and efforts to my family. But, despite of this problem, I was very attentive and inquisitive child. I willingly studied all new things. My sister and I spent every summer in the village at the grandmother, the whole summer on the nature … .All of these have imparted me love to the environment.

In 1993, as well as all children of seven-year age, I have gone to school # 28. Since 1995 owing to change of a residence I have passed to school # 115 (nowadays it is specialized school with the profound studying foreign languages). I’m grateful to destiny that have got in this school. Here I am profound studied English, in addition – French and German. Participated in many Olympiads, was the monitor of a class, visited a circle of arts and crafts. All years of training at school I had bent for to the exact sciences. Therefore, when there has come time to choose high school in which my training will proceed, I have submitted documents to Donetsk National Technical university. Up to ratings I was engaged on preparatory courses on mathematics.

In 2003 I have left school with a gold medal. By ratings I was entered to the physic-metallurgical faculty on a speciality “The Ecology and environmental protection”. Since school times I was excited with environmental problems, as Donetsk region, and the whole world. My senior sister Lena was a wonderful example for me, she has finished high school on same speciality.

Having entered to university, I have completely plunged into a student's life. From the first days I’m professional organizator of group, participated in various conferences, and not only ecological, but also mathematical, in Olympiads on ecology.

As soon as at university student's self-management has appeared, I became an active member of student's self-management at faculty.

Probably, all this has given the basis for administration of faculty to propose my nominee on assignment of the grant of the President of Ukraine. For me it appeared huge but very pleasant surprise.

The theme of mine master work is connected to recycling waste products of plastic in blast furnace manufacture. Now this problem is very actual, as everywhere are available both household, and industrial wastes of plastic, which recycling in our country widely is not applied. And at inflation of specially advanced waste products of plastic in a blast furnace we have some positive aspects:

In the future I plan to find worthy work on a speciality where I can apply all knowledge received at university, to realize all skills.

I plan to see the whole world, especially Great Britain, Italy, Australia, New Zealand….
