Introduction

     Tumours – it is pathological excrescences of tissues, consisting of qualitative changing cages, becoming atypical in regard to differentiation, character of growth and other processes. There are malignant and nonmalignant tumours.

    In the economic developed countries malignant tumours take second place after the cardiovascular diseases among the reasons of death.

     Medical treatment of tumours is carried out by different methods depending on their kind, localization, stages of development, age of patient and others. Most widely applied there is the surgical method of medical treatment. In the large percent of cases operative interferences are complemented by the radiation therapy and medicamental methods of treatment. And the row of malignant tumours in early stages is cured by radial therapy only.

     Radiotherapy disposes by the large set of sources of quantum and corpuscular radiations providing the irradiation of necessary volume of tissues in an optimum medical dose. In this connection radial therapy became major component of complex medical treatment of malignant diseases.

     Radial therapy is the complex of measures which carry out a preparatory stage for conducting of irradiation and irradiation itself. In the complex such measures are included:
- computer tomography;
- planning of the medical fields of irradiation. Under the medical fields (by the isodose distributing) in radiotherapy, distributing of eaten up energy and ionizing radiation is understood in the body of patient;
- simulation of cycle of radiotherapy;
- irradiation.

Purpose of work

     The purpose of master's degree work consists in creation of the system executing automation of process of comparison of images at the choice of the isocentre medical fields on the stage of simulation of cycle of radial therapy. By virtue of that the given procedure is conducted by only visual comparison of radiologist and radiation therapist and there sometimes are divergences in opinions, that creation of recommendation of the system giving out would help to minimize a subjective error in finding of isocentre.

Actuality and novelty

     For the receipt of the expected result from radial therapy, i.e. maximal defeat of target of irradiation and minimum damage of surrounding the exposed volume to the rays tissues, conducting by the highly technological equipment of all before enumerated stages at the highest level with a minimum subjective error is needed. Therefore a different sort of development in area of radiotherapy are very actual. Topicality of the given work can be also underlined, indicating, that radiotherapy is one of main methods of medical treatment of malignant formations and introduction of new developments to conducting of this therapy can multiply the percent of successful completion of medical treatment.

    By virtue of that the use of such highly technological equipment, as to simulator of radiotherapy in Ukraine is carried out while only in a few regional anticancer centers and developments of similar this, put into operation, no, thus it is possible to select the novelty of the given task.

Results

    Thus, the developed system must:
- to automate the process of search on the interactive x-ray photography images got on the such preparatory stage of radial therapy, how a simulation, points, is, characterizing the center of irradiation;
- to carry the search out on the basis of images containing the indicated point, but got and treated on preliminary stages (center of irradiation - result of miscalculation of the designing system). The given images are in its way a standard which comparison is produced with;
- to produce comparison, using the method of the image processing - genetic algorithms;
- to indicate relocation bias in the proper directions of table for the hit pithily, being the best decision;
- to carry a recommendation character.
Now the program is found in the stage of development. Completion is planned on the December 2008
