Abstract

Resume:

Average grade during studying at the university is 4,98. I know Russian and Ukrainian. I have the certificate of knowledge of English at Upper-Intermediate level. I have work experience in such computer programmes as Mathcad, Matlab, MicroCap, ANSYS, FEMM, Compas. I take a great interest in fishing, chess and playing the guitar.

Biography:

Childhood

My name is Anatoliy Boyev. I was born on 23rd July, 1987 in Donetsk. My mother Irina Boyeva and father Evgenie Boyev are both doctors. I had an inquiring mind and my parents gave me plenty of time and attention.

When I accomplished 2 years there was a steep turn in my life. I was brought from soft and fluffy grandmother's diapers to the strong hands of old regime nannies of the kindergarten "Teremok". I didn’t like the kindergarten because of the tasteless pearl-barley and obligatory rest time. This story has finished with a handing over a duty of guiding me to the kindergarten. It has been assigned to my father because my mother simply couldn’t resist children's tears and entreaty. She has taken me to her work in hospital instead of the kindergarden. In the age of six I made a final decision that I would be a doctor after I was once allowed to look into a microscope ocular.

School

At the age of seven I was sent to the school #64 in Donetsk. At first I couldn’t define my attitude to it. On the one hand teachers assigned homework but on the other hand as it seemed to me school favourably differed from kindergarden in absence of rest time. One of the first tests in mathematics dotted one’s «i’s». I got the mark of "five" for the first part of the test and "two" for the second one. It became a real shock for me. I was surprised when my parents decided to celebrate this momentous event in my life with cake instead of taking appropriate measures on me. I had an inquiring mind and I can’t help remembering when I contrived a telescope with the help of my father. Of course I didn’t see rings of Saturn although all instructions of "Children's Encyclopaedia" were passed almoust exactly.

I took part in different competitions at the time of studying at school. I remember well when I participated in a school team of chess players which has taken the third place in team scoring in regional tournament. We felt like fortunate holders of the chess crown.

Approximately at this time I have taken a great interest in playing a guitar. Although I can’t mark out any serious achievements in this direction, nevertheless I should note a role which has been played in that by Sergey Arhimandritov. He is a remarkable teacher and a musician.

I was studying in the 8th form when my brother Eugene was born. He was taking active part in problem-solving and their creation in our family on his entirely children's level.

I have shown equal interest in studying exact sciences and humanities at the school. All teachers of the school 64 are professionals of high level and remarkable people. Especially I want to mark out Nadezhda Bagaeva. She was my form-master and a chemistry teacher. I have graduated from school with a silver medal.

University

From the earliest childhood I was firmly convinced that I would become a doctor. I have probably got used to this thought so much that it had time to bore me. In the 11th form I showed interest in studying exact sciences and it has predetermined my choice of Donetsk national technical university (DonNTU). It was no less difficult for me to make choice of a future speciality. My interest in electrical engineering has played the decisive role. I have chosen "Electrotechnical systems of electroconsumption".

The first course was rather difficult for me. I encountered certain difficulties in studying physics and descriptive geometry but I didn’t lose interest in studying.I have taken the first places on competitions in metrology and measuring technics, industrial electronics and electrical machines.

I studied English over the curriculum from 2005 to 2008 and received the certificate of knowledge of the language at Upper-Intermediate level. In 2008 I received the Bachelor's degree diploma. I finished military chair of DonNTU and got rank of a junior lieutenant.

After the 4th course I entered the Master's programme. I think that everyone meets persons who help to make an important choice. Leonid Vasiliev became such person for me. He is a senior lecturer of department of "Electrical mechanics and ETB" and he is my scientific adviser. Theme of master’s work is "Determination of switched reluctance motor characteristics on the basis of magnetic field analysis". This problem is important because switched reluctance motors have certain advantages in comparison with other types of electrical machines.

Plans for the future

In the future I plan to detend my master’s work successfully and to continue studying in a post graduate course.
