In childhood I was a calm and diligent child and never made my parents worry. As well as many children I didn't go to the kindergarten with pleasure but later on I started to like communicating with other children and without giving any troubles to my granny I woke up every morning with a desire to know something new, took my little school bag and went to the so-called "first school of life". After this I was prepared for the next step – a comprehensive school.
School
As the saying goes, children don't choose schools. The task of parents is to choose a school for their child. Since my parents didn't have any choice at that time they took me to comprehensive school ¹ 25, where my father and brother studied. I must say that I was a bit confused at first because there were many things new to me: high walls, long corridors with "little" and "big" pupils running and walking along them. The period of adaptation was not long. I have to thank my parents and my brother who studied in the 9th form at that time for this. During the first three years almost all of the marks I received were excellent, I received a lot of different certificates of honour that are not so important for me now, but they were at that time. I was good at human sciences; I could read fluently and write orthographically. I visited English courses twice a week and that helped me to attract attention of my classmates with knowledge of English. Along with this I went in for gymnastics but to tell you the truth I didn't like this kind of sport. Think that was the reason I didn't achieve success in this sport. After the 3d form I entered into a new difficult period connected with the move to a new district and a new school. To tell you the truth I could not imagine how I would leave my friends and go to a new school completely unknown to me. Comprehensive school ¹ 64 was chosen. Today, after many years I have no regrets about this. I can't say that our class was very friendly mainly because our tutors were changed several times. Nevertheless we supported each other in difficult situations and were solidly behind each other. There I understood the meaning of real friendship, betrayal, responsibility, competition. I took part in school academic competitions on mathematics on numerous occasions and became winner and awardee of school and all-school contests on volleyball. For the period of education at school I tried different sports: judo, swimming, basketball, volleyball... In line with sport activity and foreign language study I was good in almost all the subjects and there were only two "good" marks in my first diploma (9th form) all the other marks were "excellent". In senior classes I understood that a diploma with honour in the 11th form will help me enter a good higher educational establishment and I achieved a good result proved by a silver medal and only one "good" mark on Ukrainian literature...
University
The choice of higher educational establishment was a serious task for me. I wanted to combine interesting occupation and a perspective job in future. I was more inclined to human sciences but didn't see any good perspectives in this sphere for our industrial region and a choice was made to enter Physics and Metallurgy Department of Donetsk National Technical University. To tell the truth, my parents also approved that choice and in 2004 I was enlisted for the 1st year of the university according to the results of rating testing, specialty ÎÌÄ. During the years of studying at the physics and metallurgy department I studied a lot of subjects. Most of the subjects were interesting and useful but to my mind we could do without some of them. As the saying goes if not all but a significant share of interest of the students depends on the teacher and his/her ability to establish contact with students. I would like to distinguish such teachers of DonNTU as Konovalov Y.V., Terehov S.V., Beygelzimer Y.E. and many others. I chose professor Rudenko Yevgeniy Oleksiyovych to be my research supervisor. This is undoubtedly one of the best specialists in the sphere of rolling. At the fourth year during the work practice I worked for 1 month as an operator of the machine unit 2300 of CJSC "Donetsksteel". At present I work as a specialist of Department of Development of Programmes of Management of Perspective Development of CJSC "Donetsksteel" – Iron and Steel Works". My motivation to obtain masters degree is not to only be a specialist in a narrow sphere of rolling, but to become a sophisticated person. Previous working experience with Internet technologies was not sufficient but at present I have an opportunity to study the subject in quite a large value. Future goals – to apply acquired knowledge and life experience not only at work but in a day-to-day life as well.
