AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Childhood

I, Timur Mudzhyri, was born on December 18th, 1984 in Russia, the Sovietskaya stanitsa, Novokubanskiy district, Krasnodarskiy krai. That time my parents, Murmani G. Mudzhyri and Galina A. Kaznacheeva, were students yet. They were studying in Odessa. Therefore me and my elder brother Yevgeniy were educated, as they say, "from examinations to examinations". In December 1986, when parents have graduated from institute, our family moved to the village of Rivne, Krasnoarmeyskiy district, Donetsk region. In March 1987, my younger sister Marina was born. Here, in the Rivne village, I went to kindergarten. I learned to read early, and was reading fairy tales to my peers in a kindergarten as a result.

School

In 1991 I went to secondary school number 3 of Dimitrov. During studying I took part in school competitions on football, in many city competitions for different subjects. In 1995 I was awarded by a Diploma for the first place I won in the city competition on mathematics.

In 1999 I finished studies at the school ¹3 with honour. Then I entered the school ¹8 of Dimitrov, where also participated in the competitions and the International Mathematical Contest "Kangaroo – 2000" and "Kangaroo – 2001". In parallel with the studying I received occupation of car mechanical repair engineer (2nd level).

I was graduated from school in 2001 with a gold medal "For high achievements in education".

University

After finishing school, I joined the first year of courses in Krasnoarmeysk branch of the Donetsk National Technical University, the specialty Automated control systems. After the first course I changed my specialty to Computer Engineering and Informatics.

After graduating from studying at a branch in the second year, I transferred to a base University in Donetsk on specialty "computer systems and networks" for the second course. There was a great academic difference, that’s why I had to study the second year again. Too much time I spent studying that material which is not taught at the university. The program of study is not improving as fast as the technology improved. And to keep abreast of their development, I had to sacrifice performance in the university. I learned many new and interesting things, but learning these skills was not valued. I took an academic leave in spring 2005.

Army

In the period from spring 2005 to spring 2006, I was able to serve for the benefit of the motherland. I served in the Internal Troops of Ukraine, in the glorious city of Simferopol. Not everybody has a chance to visit the Autonomous Republic of Crimea at least once. And I was lucky to live there for a year. The climate, however, in some sense especially - too humid air. Very hot summer and very cold winter I remember for a long time. In the winter especially hard - to breathe early in the morning with frozen air, running at the stadium during the morning warm up, a rather unusual case.

But the statutory service was not so bad. Before my leave, I was increased in rank, earned additional 5 days to leave, and have got a medal. I was awarded with badge for exemplary service. When I came home I had a reason to be proud with myself.

For the most part, the one thing which characterizes me from my classmates is the service in the army. But, to be noticed, the army is not evil, as it seems to be (though it interrupted my studies at the University for a year). It is a paramilitary organization of people, who put the order in all at the first place. There the daily routine, a clear adherence to the instructions, obedience boss become a habit in army. And all of this will certainly be useful in the future. In general, service in the army went only to the benefit for me.

The return to University

In spring 2006, I recovered on the third course of the same specialty. And, oddly enough, education was getting better. Being at the next level, I participated in conferences and competitions. In summer 2007 I successfully passed the practice in company engaged in software development.

The Master's course

After the successful passing exam for Bachelor's degree of Computer Science in 2008, I entered the Master's course for the same specialty at the same university.

The topic chosen for the master's work: "Research of routing algorithms in multisegment wireless networks." I decided to research wireless networks as they develop rapidly, and potentially can replace the cable. Researches done in my work will help to serve Wi-Fi networks' clients better.

Plans for Future

I don't know exactly what would happen in the future, but after receiving the Master diploma I would like to start working in one of the major companies as a software developer. Then I wish to grow up to director of IT-company, or may start my own business.
