    Actuality of theme

        It is last 30-25 years since a moment of finding out conducting during researching of gas-bearingness. The quntity of fact matherials which was gotten after mine working out assay, accumulates very much. The requirements for studing of gas-bearingness and conducting measures of miner degassing make more precise in the time of layer working off. Now methodics of building maps of local structures of coal layers and gas-containing layers’ structure maps were exploited and inculcated by geological survay by PU “Ukruglegeology” and IGTM (Dnepropetrovsk) [3].
        Last time all states of the world take an interest to gas-methane in coal deposits. The reasons of this interest are next. The first – miner methane is very dangerous phenomenon which worsens works conditions. Methan secretion need using of big energy expenses and difficult system of ventilation. The second – methane is valuable hydrocarbon raw material – the alternative type of fuel. It is necessary including of commercial using that will improve economical efficiency of work coal mining industries. The third – methane is dangerous gas for ecology. Therefore there is common necessity of the booty and utilization of the coal deposits methane which allows to decide some important problems: the creation of safe condition for executions of the miner works, expenditures lowering for coal extraction, using the methane as alternative kind of fuel. This problems are special actual in Ukraine there the coal is main energy resourse, which provides energy safety of the state for long time.
        All this factors are reasons of necessity to analyse of coal layer gas-bearingness and gas-satureted coal breed in the mine “Belorechenskaya” careffuly and detail. The purpose is finding of free methane accumulations and making more presice the area distribution of methane coal layers in the mine. The presence of more amounts of fact material and necessity of operative management of spatial datas which fix the gas-bearingness of coal layers stimulate the using of the program ArcView.
       

    Purpose of the work - studing of conformities to the regularities of distributing of gas-bearingness of layer l6 with using GIS technologies.

    Main tasks of researches:

  1. Creating of database in the program ArcView in the coal layer l6 of the mine “Belorechenskaya”;

  2. Researching of the spatial distributing of gas-bearingness in the coal layer l6 and sandstones;

  3. Operative addition of information during mine works for the reliable exposure of local structures and exactness of construction of the approximated surface, and also count and construction of maps of gas-bearingness and clarification of supplies of methane in the examined area;

  4. Using the program ArcView for the operative count of supplies of methane in the mine;

  5. Exactness of regularities distributing of gas-bearingness with in the limits of the mine “Belorechenskaya”.

    Research of object is a coal layer and breeds of soil and roof of layer l6 of the mine “Belorechenskaya” of the Lugansk geology industrial district.

    The article of research is gas-bearingness of coal layer l6 and breeds of soil and roof of layer l6 mine “Belorechenskaya” of the Lugansk geology industrial district.

Research methods:

  1. Generalization of results of the materials gas assay, gotten after geological survey works in the mine “Belorechenskaya”;

  2. Treatment of information with the program ArcView.

Scientific novelty of the gotten results. For the fist time in the mine “Belorechenskaya” the regularities of gas-bearingness distributing are specified with application GIS technologies.

Practical value of the work is consist of development new approach of revelations of regulariting methan-bearingness coal layers and thus count of gas with application GIS technologies. It will be used in works of “Ukruglegeologiya” for making reports of analysis of gas-bearingness of coal layers of the mine fields for the exposure the accumulations of free methane and determination of the most optimum location of decontamination mining holes from a surface.

Approbation results of work. The main provisions of work were published in the all Ukrainian scientific conference «Geology of ХХІ century. International year of planet Earth» in the Dnepropetrovsk national university by O. Gonchara.

Publication. 1 article was published on materials by using the master's degree work.

1. Systematization of the conducted researches. Literary sources analysis

       The gas-bearingness in coal layers was researched by S.U. Prikhodchenko, A.V. Anciferovu, M.G. Tirkelyu, V.A. Privalovu, M.V. Zhikalyaku, K.І. Bagrincevoy, G.V. Butt, A.M. Brizhanevym and others.
        After studying works, of this geologist we can make the conclusion that the question of local regularities of change gas-bearingness coal layers on the areas of district, the influence on methane-bearingness of coal layers of lithologic composition of containing breeds the role of multyamplitude breaks in forming of gas-bearingness of coal and breeds is studied badly.
        On the basis of literary information analysis it is possible to do the followings conclusions. For main characteristics collectors of natural gases are porosity and permeability. Thanks to marcs of sandstones it is possible to builded the local structures and approximating surfaces with give the possibility to receive analytical description of surface [5,6].

2. Geological factors and structure of area researches

        There were maked researches gas-bearingness in the mine “Belorechenskaya”. There are two coal layers - m61 and l6. Coal layers are gas-saturated there. The reasons are high coal-saturated of layer, the presence of powerful horizons of sandstones with high lauter-capacity properties, the formation traps of free gas of structural and structural-tectonic types, the presence in overhead part of geological cut «overlay» from poorly permeable chalky breeds. The main collector of natural gases in the coal layer mine “Belorechenskaya”. The collector properties of sandstones are high. Sandstones of mine “Belorechenskaya” has porous type, and together with a local structures they form the traps of free methane structural-porous type. An estimation and count supplies of gas methane in the coal layers of m61, l6+l6н, which being in the balance of the mine “Belorechenskaya” is made on the figures count of coal supplies [1,2].
        Main factors of change gas-bearingness of the area are a high gas-saturated of the layer, which generates the methane, tectonic structure, the redistribution of accumulations of free gases, high lauter-capacity properties of containing breeds and the presence of impenetrable chalky breeds in the overhead part of cut [4,7].
        The local heterogeneity of hypsometric surfaces are determined as a removal of regional background (building of approximate), it allows to select folds (second order structures), difficult monocline structures by mathematical methods.

3. Methods of analysis of actual material and results

        The researches were conducted in the mine “Belorechenskaya”. For the analysis the layer l6 was chosen. Researches were made by 156 mining holes information about gas-bearingness of containing breeds from data’s of commercial-geophysical researches, the results of interpretation of these commercial-geophysical researches on layers-collectors, the information about relative methane abundantly the mine “Belorechenskaya” (1999-2006) were used.
        For the exposure of local structures and local accumulations of free gas, belongings to the positive local structures, trend-analysis of plane coal layer is conducted.
        Trend-analysis of plane coal layer is conducted for the exposure of local structures and the local accumulations of free gas, belongings to the positive local structures.
        A similar method is used by oiler-workes for the selection the local structures or «traps». The base of this method is analysis of the built maps of the local structures of coal layers. The coal layers are the projection of the layer on a rectilinear (or curvilinear) approximating surface, and as an index of tectonic complication the absolute values of gradients of exceeding of local structures which settled accounts as attitudes of exceedings toward distance between the examined points were utilized [1,3].

        At the analysis of local structures to the program ArcView, which easily to make the analysis of tendencies is chosen. Information of gas-bearingness is added to the database and a map was built. The main advantage of this program is possibility operatively to fill up at the conduct of mountain works and operatively count supplies of gas in the mine.

4. Practical conclusions and recommendations

        The studying regularities of distributing gas-bearingness of layer l6 in the mine “Belorechenskaya” is conducted in this work.
        The program ArcView created in-process utilized, database, and also searching system. It is recommended to utilize this program, as it allows operatively to manage spatial information, to fill up them in the process of conduct of mine works, with the purpose of reliable exposure of local structures and exactness of construction of the approximated surface.
