Resume

My average mark for the period of studying at the University is 4.95 (four and ninety-five hundredths… that already says something). In 2008 I received a bachelor degree with distinction in a speciality Telecommunication Systems and Networks.

I speak Russian and Ukrainian fluently. My level of English is good enough for speaking and reading on any themes, including special technical. I also have basic skills in German.

I have some work experience (six months long) in the sphere of telecommunications (work with the equipment of a radio access network technology WiMax, testing, installing and set-up).

Professional skills:
- vector, raster, and three-dimensional graphics (3D Studio Max, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Visio, Kompas 3D)
- design, simulation and analysis of networks (NetCracker, Cisco Packet Tracer, OpNet, Ethereal)
- system design and analysis (MatLab, LabView, Elanix SystemView, AWR Microwave Office)
- programming on languages Pascal, C + +, in the software environment Algorithm Builder
- the basis of Web-design (html, css)
- the basis of soundworking (Adobe Audition)

I like spend my free time listening to music, playing electric guitar, learning the history and the present of Formula-1, doing physical exercises, swimming.

I am very educated, smart, observant, quick-witted, ingenious, cultural, widely-read, brought up, sports, mobile, cheerful, defiant, heroic, visionary, all-talented and immodest... but if there is a very good motivation I can be also very hard-working, responsible and purposeful.

Childhood

I was born on 26th of June 1986 in Donetsk. There was nothing special about me during the preschool years, except that I read well, spoke without any problem with the letters (which was particularly important because of three letters «R» in spelling my name), painted well, really enjoyed singing, playing the accordion ( «Katyusha»))), playing guitar («Grasshopper»)), riding a bike with a frame and a skateboard, reading grandpa’s «Za Rylem». Also, giving thanks to my grandmother, I have already read well in English.

I almost didn’t go to nurseries and kindergartens. Therefore, the main part of that period I have spent with my grandparents in Torez (Donetsk area).

School (class 1-8)

At the age of seven years I went to Ukrainian humanitarian gymnasium ¹65 in Donetsk. From the second class I started going to ball dances. As it is a pair kind of sports, I had no lack of dialogue with girls. My favourite subjects were physical culture and mathematics.

I’ve studied perfectly well, but one day in the end of 8th grade, I’ve heard about entrance examinations into Donetsk lyceum “Intellect”. I’ve understood that knowledge of the exact sciences would have the highest priority while entering the university. Eventually I passed all necessary exams (math was really hard and some of my friends stopped then) and started studying at the…

Lyceum (class 9-11)

I’ve always been comprehensively talented, therefore I’ve decided to direct my abilities to a certain area. That’s why I went to the informatics class at the lyceum.

Following the results of the first year of studying I was on the first place in the list of an average score between all students of the lyceum. I was very proud of this but it has shown again that it would be difficult for me to determine my future profession.

At the lyceum I’ve really enjoyed physics. Along with math and physical education, physics became my favorite subject then (and now). I want to express special thanks to physics teachers Smirnova Tatiana S., and algebra – Suleiman, Elena S., that I was well prepared to enter the university.

On each break we traditionally played football outside under any weather conditions and at any time of year. I also took part in many sport competitions. Every autumn our class went to Slavyanogorsk, and once in spring to Oskol.

In the 10th class I’ve finished my dancing career. In sum it lasted for eight years. During it I’ve danced in pair with five different partners and won an uncountable set of the first, second, third and fourth places at various competitions. But I still had a strong need to go in for sports, therefore instead of dances I’ve started to go to gym, that took much less time than dances.

Also in the 10th class I went to the German language courses to a branch of the Goethe University at DonNU. I studied there for two semesters, which confirms the certificate Grundstuffe 2.

I graduated from lyceum only with perfect marks (10 and above according to school system), but got only a silver medal because the requirements of the lyceum for a gold medal suggested participating in conferences.

University

There was no problem with a choice of University and Faculty, as both my parents finished the analogue of a present faculty CITA of DonNTU. It was much harder to choose a speciality. Eventually I went on a speciality with bigger competition and where the German group with good prospects of employment in the future has been promised. That was Telecommunication Systems and Networks. Many medallists entered by interview, but I wrote ratings and have passed thanks to 55 points from 60 possible in physics. So I entered the university and got a free of pay place.

At the university I’ve got my new friends. They are very interesting and funny people and we are opening new horizons of humor with them. Our group is very friendly. Every year on May holidays we go to Shurovo, every summer we are trying to have a rest together in Crimea, most holidays we celebrate in the Donetsk botanical garden or at somebody’s home.

I was especially good in Higher Mathematics, Physics, Electromechanics, Ukrainian and English. I enjoy disciplines where it’s necessary to think hard, when there is any beautiful and nontrivial decision. It can be difficult complex algorithm or an independently deduced formula.

I’ve finished first two courses with all fifth in my grade-book. On the second course I was awarded the nominal scholarship from Higher Mathematics Department.

At the same time I’ve taken the fifth place on the City olympiad on TFE (Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering) and have had an opportunity to act the Ukrainian olympiad.

On the fourth year I have won the University olympiad on Ukrainian language and then have taken the sixth place on the next stage (of the whole Donetsk region).

In spring of the fourth year I was chosen to participate the courses on Network planning (Net Planning) from UDEC Group. By results of total testing in Donetsk I went to the next stage of this training in Kharkov. However our professional relations have not received the further evolution though.

After the fourth year, in 2008, I received a Bachelor diploma with honors. Then I passed the single State examination and entered the Magistracy to achieve something greater. Without any problems, from the third place from above in the total list.

When it was time to define with the theme of the future master's work, I wanted to work with something fundamental, consistent, interesting and actual as possible. With these thoughts I went to my current scientific adviser – Shirokov Yuri D. I do not know really how much it has turned out, but now my subject sounds like “Research and development of methods of increasing of reliability of information transfer in a corporate network of industrial enterprise”

On the one hand it allows to engage in thorough theoretical analysis of the existing problems in this area, and working with their private and personal nontrivial solution, on the other.

At this time, Master's work requires further researches and development. Onwards are stages of offering personal complex solutions, modeling and evaluation of its efficiency.

The main plan of life

It’s very hard and painful for me to see how our people purposefully and gradually ruin themselves by drink. It is very deep, sharp, heavy, long-lasting problem which requires some decision. People as usual will come round only at the latest moment when it will be already late. It’s very difficult now to explain somebody that such problem really exists.

I believe that my task is to save mankind from this disease which has already sat down very deeply at consciousness and now gradually reduces its middle age.

Then I am going to develop an accessible technique for people to understand that the alcohol is absolutely not necessary for them. For this purpose it’s necessary, that thousands people started listening to my opinion. That’s why I should become famous. I don’t know exactly how to achieve this, but I’m sure this must be done.

Plans for the near future

In the near future, my priorities are the further development of nontrivial complex solutions on the subject of my master's work. Then I wish to defend it to finish the MA course.

Also in the near future, I’m going to pass the exam to receive a corporate certificate CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).

I sincerely hope that the existence of Master's diploma, a CCNA certificate, DonNTU’s certificate of English and a Grundstufe 2 certificate of DonNU (German), will raise me in the eyes of my employers. In any case, any job requires precise restudying. My quickness and some experience in telecommunications industry will help me coping with it.
