I have skills in using computer programs such as Mathcad, Kompas, Visio, SPlan, Electronics Workbench Multisim, programs of MS Office pack.

Biography

Childhood

I was born on April 2nd, 1988 in Gorlovka. When I was 4 I entered the kindergarten, but I didn’t really like it. The reason was its cookery that many children didn't like and I wasn't the exception. But there were not only bad sides. I liked much our morning performances and remember some of them till now. Once I played the role of the wizard. My parents made me the special suit and made turban on the head. I showed the trick with the glass with ink that turned into the glass of water. Of course, there were no ink in the glass but it was only water with black paper in it. So, I was covering the glass of ink with the magic kerchief, saying magic words and taking out the paper. Children were asking me about this trick long time after that. In summer my father moved with his bee-garden and other beekeepers to countryside - village Bahmutka. Nature there is beautiful and I have got a lot of memories since that time except bees that sometimes stung me. But all of these disadvantages were compensated with beauty of landscapes, fishing, mushrooming and of course honey.

School

When I was 7 I went to school ¹ 1 in our town where I was studying for 10 years before entering the university. The teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature was our class teacher, that’s why Ukrainian language came into my life farther than its seemed to in the Russian-speaking school. Thanks to our class teacher our classroom was the museum of the Ukrainian creativity. For many years she was collecting subjects of Ukrainian history and life from clay ceramics to national clothes and paintings. I clearly remember my teachers of English language. They gave us high standard of knowledge and I have appreciated this much more studying at the university. I can’t but say that our class was the lyceum therefore we studied English deeper than others.

In school years like other boys I went in for sports playing football, basketball and other team games. Our class often won in our school competitions between classes and we took if not the first but at least the second place. While studying at school I was attending aircraft model section where I took a closer look at airplanes and gliders and took first steps in building them. Also I managed to attend photographic section a little.

University

My parents and I gave due regard to the choice of the college and profession. Going through the list of the departments and specialties we came to the conclusion that it would be electrotechnical faculty. The specialty "Electrotechnical systems of electricity consumption" was chosen taking into consideration that it included different directions in the sphere of power consumption. Not the last reason was that my farther was radio-amateur and I was getting accustomed to electrical engineering, assembled and soldered simple electric circuits and so on since my childhood. That’s why electrical engineering is familiar to me.

In 2005 I entered DonNTU. From the very beginning studing at the university has not left me indifferent even in spite of difficult first year. Maybe our nice group or perhaps the end of the school days but I liked students' life and studying at university. I showed more interest when we started learning subjects connected with our specialty. The most important subjects were "Electrical engineering theoretical basis", "Electric networks and systems", "Electrical supply of industrial enterprises", "Electrical machines", "Electrical devices", "Relay protection" and "Electrical power stations and substations". After finishing 4-th course I entered the magistracy to continue study. I asked professor E.G. Kourennyi to be my scientific adviser as he learned problems of electromagnetic compatibility. The theme of my master's work is very relevant nowadays because of the gradual replacement of old incandescent lamps (IL) by compact fluorescent lamps (CFL). The power consumption of CFL from 4 to 5 times less than IL but the lifetime from 5 to 8 times longer. But as the current-voltage characteristics of CFLs significantly differs from ILs and this fact haven’t been taken into normative documents for projecting new networks of illumination yet, there is the problem that needs to be solved. Also I’m planning to make the recommendations to computation of networks of illumination using CFLs.

Plans for the future

In the nearest future I'm planning to finish my master's work and successfully defend it, get the job on my specialty and gain new knowledge and experience for the professional and career development.
