NEW TECHNOLOGY AND MEANS OF EXCAVATION OF COAL FROM THIN LAYERS OF STEEP

Currently, Ukraine is experiencing energy shortage and its partial quench the need to increase coal production to the minimum of energy. According to the forecast of technical and economic indicators [1] in the development of steep strata in the depth interval 1000-1300m, the total coal reserves are more 400mln. tons, in addition to the balance of the mines in Ukraine there are about 600mln tons conditioned coal reserves, located above the existing layers, so-called "Dangling stocks.
There are 200 million tons of off-balance sheet reserves, which removed only a part, and the rest as repayment workings becomes unfit for working out [2].

At the present time for testing these stocks has not yet established enough effective technology and techniques of extraction of coal from steep seams fine. The main direction of improvement of existing tools excavation is to try to cram into the reservoir reduced copies of existing means of mechanization of coal extraction. Ergonomic research and practice shows that a person is unable, without harm to their health working in such cramped conditions, so you need to abandon the human presence in space cleanout.

Conducted in recent years attempts to introduce technology deserted excavation and the means used for its implementation have not found sufficient, but may experience a little practice transformed into its long-term solutions [3].

New tools for the mining of thin seams and steep interlayers developed by Don NTU include machine for coal extraction equidistant wells. Executive body of the unit is a device for excavation of steep seams (power 0,25-0,4 m) allowing drilling closely spaced holes. In the aggregate used in the mechanism of forced pressing the guide skis to the borehole wall to the side
Coal array. This allows you to apply for coal extraction existing drilling rigs and tools.

Proposed several options for coal extraction unit. When one of them (Fig. 1) on the haulage roadway set drilling machine 2 and the receiving device 1. The proposed alternative technology coal extraction has the following advantages compared with traditional, such as Combine, pattern mining substandard layer with prisechkoy

- Extraction of pure coal
- The inability to penetrate people in a dangerous area;
- Lack of harvesters and the supports and the need for their installation, commissioning and maintenance;
- Waiver of scarce timber for mounting purification space;
- The possibility of seizure brossovyh stocks;
- Carrying out excavations on coal for penetration into hard to reach areas in the case of rescue operations;
- Improvement of environmental conditions and increase security staff.

Experimental verification technology deserted extraction can be performed with standard equipment (SB-2M, B-68KP), which is set on the haulage roadway. The costs of training and development of industrial inspection will be several times smaller than the development of a new complex with mechanization bolting. For practical application of the proposed technology must complete serial rigs routing device of the proposed design.
