Introduction

Our way of life is constantly changing with the help of automation. There is more microprocessing equipment than incandescent lamps in our houses. Automation influenced on mostly all of devices around us, beginning from TV and ending with common iron.

But if automation is only making life easier in ordinary houses, then in industries is allows to fasten production processes, reduce the amount of staff, improve the quality and turn the production to totally new level. All these factors are undoubtedly leading to economical profit, which is the main reason for making some changes in enterprise’s structure.

For the last decades we got used to watching the reducing of competitiveness’ level of domestic industry. The main factor, influencing on this process, is using error-free and efficient information on all levels of production. And creating comprehensive information programs is the way of solving this problem.

Aim and tasks of magistracy’s work

The main aim of the work is the research in ready decisions in the area of mining enterprise’s automation of process control and modernization of such system. The system

“Carier” was taken as a background, which was designed by company “VIST Group”.

It’s needed to implement the possibility of double-ended transmission of data between excavator and central control room in the real time and design the system of monitoring of excavator, working according to this innovation.

The Urgency of research topic

The main problem of mining enterprise’s automation of process control is that most of equipment is deconcentrated through the wide area and this became even more complicated concerning the fact that they are constantly moving. Controller has to control the work of transport vehicle and loading equipment. But they can’t know for sure all the details of the process. It’s possible to check the technical state of transport vehicle only after taking it out of the route. The main task of controller-to distribute workload of the key objects- is possible to do only by hand. Not only the profit depends on the quality of work organization at the mining enterprises, but also people’s lives. And well-organized activity enables to increase plenty of indicators of enterprise and improve the productivity.

Review of the research and designs

The problems of enterprise’s automation were already brought up in the countries of CIS and all over the world. And the progress followed. So, some projects of automation of mine survey at the mining enterprises were already realized at opencast mines. But in Ukraine, unfortunately, there are only few automatic opencast mines.

2 designs, succeeded in CIS, can be regarded as the background for the following research. They are:

They have different realization, but the main structure and principle of operation are still the same.(Look pic. 1) This is explained by the fact that both these systems are supposed to solve the same problem: they are taking contemporary technologies into the process of control and mine survey at the enterprises of mining industry.

System K-MINE®

Geographic information system - information system, which provides gathering, saving, processing, reflection, analysis, modeling and spreading distributed in the space data. ГИС K-MINE® has module structure, which allows to make flexible adjustment, according to the needs of users. The system is self-sufficient and includes all functional abilities for solving the entire cycle of the tasks in mining industy.

System "Carier"

Adoption of the system “Carier” allows to increase the effectiveness of operative control of the enterprise and increase the reliability of work control of cargo objects in the enterprise.

Gathered information goes to the central control room, where it’s processed by 2 programming adjustments Pit Explorer and Pit Explorer.

Conclusion

Nowadays systems of mining industry’s automation of process control is quite young, but quite perspective technology. Using modern hardware and software, it enables to solve the whole range of tasks for mining enterprise, which only 10 years ago seemed to be almost impossible to be solved. But as any technology on its first level of development, it also has its own “child” diseases.
