Childhood

I, Ivan Ponomarev, was born on September 25th, 1989, in the glorious city Makeevka, Donetsk region. Makeevka is a quite large town with well-developed industry. It is located in fifteen kilometers from Donetsk (this information for people who wish to arrive).

My mother, Tatiana Ponomareva, is a teacher of history and law in one of Makeevka school. My father, Boris Ponomarev, works in the firm, which deals with satellite TV. My sister, Vera Ponomareva, studies at the pedagogical institute.

In the childhood I was quite active and curious child. From three till six years I went to kindergarten. To be honest, I do not remember this time.

And then memory wakes up — school begins...

School years

In 1996 I went to 1-B form of comprehensive school ¹ 90. My first teacher, A. Chistyakova, made a huge impression on me. She inculcated me an interest in learning and enriched my inner world. I liked such subjects as mathematics, geography, Russian literature the whole training time. I also successfully participated in many competitions. Almost all the classes I graduated with honorary diploma. With gratitude I remember all teachers of this school, especially: R. Dolzhnikova (mathematics teacher), L. Romanova (geography teacher), L. Sidorenko (physics teacher), L. Sharkova (teacher of the Russian language and literature).

After leaving of school ¹ 90 I moved to the liceum ¹ 1 with the secondary school 1-3 levels ¹ 61 in 2004. I liked technical subjects, so I went to 10-B class with a technical bias. Here, I studied mathematics, chemistry, physics. I like the Russian literature very much. I also participated in various competitions. I am very grateful to N. Rastorguev (a teacher of mathematics), T. Petrova (a teacher of chemistry , the form-mistress), I. Demidenko (a teacher of the Russian language and literature) and to many others for professional and interesting learning. I graduated school with a gold medal.

Also I want to remember all the classmates who studied with me for eleven years and communicate to this day.

Next — student years...

University years

I thought about further education too late. I thought to enter the Donetsk National University at the Mathematics Faculty or the Donetsk National Technical University at the Electrotechnical Faculty. Why is the first university — it is clear because I like mathematics. With the second it is not so simple. I liked electrical direction of study in DonNTU immediately because, in my opinion, power engineering is the most promising and the industry needs branch, which connects all the other industries. Therefore, in the end, I chose electrical engineering faculty of Donetsk National Technical University, speciality “Electrical systems and networks”. I entered the university after the successful delivery of the ratings in 2006. Incidentally, I do not regret my choice so far.

Frankly, the first year of study seemed extremely difficult. But after a good end of the first course of study I became more confident and more successful. In my second year I went to the British group of the same specialty to improve level of English.

During my studies at university I want to mention and thank all the faculty, and in particular: E. Alekseev, B. Ivanov, A. Koroschenko, G. Rogozin, E. Dmitrieva, I. Larina, I. Zabolotniy, V. Syvokobylenko and all the people who studied with me.

I received a bachelor's degree in 2010 and immediately entered the masters, where I study to this day.

It should also be noted that I entered the group of students DFEC after the conversation on the fifth year. I study at the enterprise of electrical networks "Energocoal", namely, Proletarian district electrical networks and Relay protection service. Here I get a great experience and deep my knowledge in specific areas such as electrical installation, repair of cables and relay protection and automatics.

At my study in the university I use Internet-technologies when find the necessary information about subject. Favorite search system is Google, since there is the greatest selection of information.

My scientific adviser is E. Dmitrieva, professor of “Electrical Systems” department. Subject master's thesis is "Evaluation of electromagnetic compatibility by non-symmetry and non-sinusoidality voltage in electric networks with electric arc steel-melting furnaces". I consider it extremely important and very interesting.

Future Plans

I do not like to consider the future. Believe that we should live in the present. As they say, to solve problems as they become available.

In the near future I would like to successfully defend a master's degree, get a fairly interesting job on the specialty with reasonable wages.

Of course, it is necessary to continuously improve professional skills and develop the personal traits for inner harmony.

In short, I want to fulfill myself in life successfully.
