The aim of research

The aim of this research is to work up the algorithm of CAD reamers and its further realization in program packet.

To realize this aim it is necessary to fulfill the following investigations:

  • to carry out analysis of the existing CAD CT (cutting tools);

  • to workout the structure of CT projecting model;

  • to create the CAD programs in program packet

  • Topicality of the theme

    In connection with world tendency of cutting of serial production we quiet often encounter the projecting of the special tools. Created during the work CAD CT makes it possible to reduce the time needed for projecting of such tools.

    Planning practice result

    Planning practice result is the receiving of the program modulus, which will project reamer for processing of given work according to setting data and further transmission of the receiving information in PowerShape and construction of the cutting tools model.

    Review of nowadays CAD-systems

    Nowadays CAD-systems find wide application in tools production on the engineering enterprises. However efficiency of their use is not very big. As a rule they play the electronic analogue of the drowning table. The calculations, needed for projecting of the metallproccessing tools, are made, to a considerable extent, either on calculations or with the help of other computer programs for example, electronic tables.

    For the modern stage of the output engineering development it is typical the rapid growth of the new type of production. [3].

    In conditions of strict competition it promotes the considerable reduction of technical preparating cycle, which is impossible without systems of automatized projection condition of skilled personnel deficiency.

    Tooling projection provides the solution of the task of calculations, constructions, manufacture and operation. Methods of solution of these tasks are depended on the means, which constructor is able to use.

    Modern information technics make it possible to conduct complicated calculations with great speed and accuracy, compare received results graphically, optimize elements of the constructions and realize other stage of projection [9].

    Consider the basic concepts and definitions of CAD for tooling.

    Unit 1 contains the general characteristics of CAD. Unit 4 determins the area of formation the projective program modules (PPM) conserning constructions of the certain types of tools (unit 3).

    In unit 5 the data about the tools and their elements are formed.

    PPM of the technological processes (TP) for the projection of the original technics (unit 7) are formed according to the same principal.

    Data of TP may contain the information about the standard TP and nontypical processes.

    PPM about the organization of work up new productions. In this case PPM of projection of work shop sections are formed on the base of worked up technological processes (unit 14). Unit 13 contains the data about types of productions. Unit 15 contains the information about TP, equipment, control measuring devices, typical planning sections, shops and tools plants.

    Here the certain PPM enumerate the tools nomenclature, their sizes range, material and other elements. In unit 2 there are PPM concerning the projection of the solid cutting tools.

    The great set of different types of solid drill does not permit to determine the common methods of projection. Smallsize twist drills have their own peculiarities of projection, and step drills and flat drills exceed the limits of methods of projection of ordinary twist drills. However the identical projective modules in selection of the tools material, type and size of shanks may be used for two or more types of tools.

    The algorithm of the reamer projection at the figure 4 has been worked up on the base of the standard methods of the calculation of the reamers with the staggered tooth [4].

    Conclusion.

    We have analysed the existing CAD CT. The algorithm of the projection of reamers was worked up on their base. The next stage is the creature of the program module, which will be inculcated in PowerShape and create 3D model of reamer according received values.
