BIOGRAPHY

Childhood

I was born in October 31, 1990, in Donetsk. My father, Ishchuk Sergey, was born in Donbass, and now he is the circuit installer in Scientific Production Association Recon, my mother, Ishchuk Olga, was born in Belgorodska region (Russia), and now she is a senior engineer of an estimate section in Open Joint-Stock Company INSTITUTE YUZHNIIGIPROGAZ. Also I have an elder sister, Julia, who has recently given a birth to her son, Artem.

The special abilities or interests hadn't shown up in my childhood, I had just some more mathematical skills, than my peers had, that’s why I had been moved up into the next elder form after passing special test in my kindergarden. And, unfortunately, that period of my life I remember very dimly. Sometimes different images appear in my memory, when I get to those places, where I was born and spent my childish years.

School

My parents wanted my staying with a prior group, whom I had met in the kindergarden. Therefore I automatically started to the specialized English school ¹2. For some people school is the spiritual place, where they can meet each other every first Saturday of February; others call it their beginning of the way of life, foundation or base of their knowledge. And I may agree with the last one. My first years were remembered through meetings with great people, whom I meet nowadays and I hope this friendship will keep for a long period of time. Our group was friendly until the 4-5 form of studying. But then because of different reasons, including the changes of staff, we started to lose that team-spirit, which is so important to master in school years. But there was a group of wonderful people, with whom I grew up and try to spend time together nowadays. At school I was interested in mathematical sciences, languages and history. That interest was provoked by myself and by great teachers. And I always will thank to my parents for my studying at the specialized English school. I had had a good base for the further improvement of knowledge of English from my childhood thanks to that.

When I was on the 5th year of studying, my father brought a synthesizer at home, made by his friend, and suggested me trying to play. He has a good ear for music and feels a great love of it, and he decided to check: whether those qualities were transferred to me. The ability of ear was particularly different, but the interest of music was quickly coincided. Thereby, my parents decided to send me to musical school, where I met the best teacher in my years of studying, Korogodin Alexander. He is not just a teacher of playing the musical instruments; he is teacher of the life, morality, world outlook, delicacy of sense and responsiveness of perception. I feel an infinite love and respect to this person, and I can say a lot of good things about him.

University

Specialization, associated with the electrical power, I chose of my own accord, but without any special interest (that time); and the speciality was advised by my friend Luzhnev Anton to me, who has been working in the department Electromechanics and TBE after the graduation of this speciality. He also advised me the scientific adviser Kovalev Alexander, with whom he had been working a lot in his students’ years and now he gives him a great praise.

I knew about my starting the university since spring, because I passed preliminary exams, rates. I think the university life is the best time in my life. The first years were followed by relatively irresponsible attitude to studying, but somehow I contrived to receive a scholarship and not to get bad marks to diploma. But from the third year of studying the special disciplines were started to teach and the process of cognition of speciality and recognition of appearance of interest in it were started. I was literally interested in every subject, though not all teachers taught their disciplines with the sufficient enthusiasm for rising students’ interest. I thought about starting Master of Engineering (M. Eng) from the first year of studying, but didn’t worry about that because this step of my life didn’t have much time. But at the beginning of the fourth year of studying I thought about it profoundly. That time the issues of state examinations and average scores were commonly used. And I started to prepare for every exam more consciously. And as a result, my positive university memoir made my studying the M. Eng possible. The theme of my master work Assessment of a fire safety of substations 110/10 kV, supplying industrial enterprises with electrical power was chosen by my scientific adviser.

In general, the university taught me the speciality, got acquaintances with wonderful people and formed me as a personality. I will remember these years with a huge pleasure, and will enjoy the last university weekdays of studying.

Future plans

In the future I plan to graduate successfully the M.Eng and to find a prestigious job in our country or abroad; to continue to improve knowledge of specialization and to improve the knowledge of foreign languages.
