1. Theme urgency

Presently one of main problems of the underground coal mining in Ukraine is creation of effective facilities and methods of counteraction by an increasing with a depth temperature in the underground making of deep coal mines. This problem requires certain attention and prosecution of normalization of thermal terms in coalfaces.

2. Aims and research tasks

The aim of master's degree work is research-and-development of influence of thermophysical descriptions of breeds on the results of thermal calculations of the cleansing making measures on normalization of thermal terms in coalface on the Skochinskiy mine.

Main tasks of the research:

  1. The analysis of the thermal mode is produced in lava, cool machines and conditioners, being in the underground making.
  2. The comparative analysis of thermal survey is executed.
  3. The calculation of temperature of air is executed in coalface.
  4. The analysis of influence of thermophysical descriptions of breeds is executed on the results of thermal calculations of the cleansing making.
  5. Measures are developed on normalization of thermal terms.

3. Shot description of mine

Skoncinskiy mine is handed over in exploitation in 1975 with project power of 1,8 millions ton.

In the mine field unsealed by 7 vertical barrels in 944–1293 meters depth, worked off single unprotected extrahazardous on the sudden extrass of coal and gas layer of h16 "Smolyaninovskiy" by power of 1,2–2,2 meters and angle of incidence 8–18°. Preparation of the field of mine is a panel, the system of work off is continuous or combined with the use of conveyer drifts of coalfaces, which previous worked off as vent.

Cleansing coalfaces are worked off on the system "Lava is a drift" by direct motion.

Industrial supplies on 1.01 of 2011 year 75,164 million tons make, including on the worked off layer 42,326 million tons.

Production capacity of mine on 1.01 of 2011 year are 500 thousands ton in year. Presently on a mine 3 coalfaces on a central panel(2 western coalface of UPCP, 2 east coalface of UPCP) and 1 coalface work on a western panel(5 western coalface of ZP).[6]

4. Temperature survey

In master's degree work the analysis of influence of thermophysical descriptions of breeds of third of east pitfaces on the results of thermal calculations and development of complex measures are produced on normalization of thermal terms.

On a picture a layout of points of measuring of thermo-humidity parameters of air chart is represented in the mountain making en-route the third east pitface of UP TG1 of Skochinskiy mine GP " DUEK" on the state on February of 2012.[3]

5. Measures on normalization of thermal terms in coalface

On results thermal calculations application of the artificial cooling of air is recommended on the basis of the use of complex of mine refrigeration equipment with the watercooling refrigeration machine of MHRV–1[7] or by means of the movable refrigeration units equipped conditioners KPS 300[4].
