Introduction

The task of analyzing human behavior on the Internet is not new, in the modern world there are plenty of programs, technologies and services. The most famous of which is “Yandex.Metrica” - a free Internet service of Yandex, designed to assess website traffic and analyze user behavior [ 1 ] and Google Analytics - free A service provided by Google to create detailed statistics on website visitors [ 2 ]. There are also many similar services since the scope of opportunities in this area is really huge. But the topic is not simple because it requires quite extensive knowledge in the field of web-technologies and to apply a large number of languages ​​and related systems. That is why I chose this topic for graduation work. Since it gives a huge impetus to the professional development of their skills.

The work of such services is based on an analysis of the behavior of visitors, what links people click on most often, what they pay attention to more often, after which pages potential customers often go to the shopping section, which pages reduce traffic, all this information is processed by appropriate programs and sent to the site owner. This greatly increases the chances of a successful online business. And as a conclusion, we can conclude that this field of development is very popular in the modern world, which is increasingly moving into the Internet space.

Many people know: most often distrust of the site stops the user from making a purchase or ordering a service.

The studies conducted allow us to conclude that potential customers first thoroughly study the sites of companies offering the goods they need, and only then 60% of them place an order online (the rest, having familiarized themselves with the offers on the Web, go to the store in the old fashioned way ).

With regard to ordering services, a similar picture is observed: people look at offers, but then they turn to friends for advice or are interested in their experience in dealing with Internet companies.

This does not mean that the visitors didn’t like your offers, they simply are convinced that they want to deceive them, which means that you did not arouse their trust, could not convince. Therefore, you need to analyze the resource and find out: what exactly caused such a reaction that "pushed" the potential client.

Aitracking, i.e. analysis of user behavior is not only about viewing visitors' counters. Today it is quite difficult to establish the real number of people who visited the resource, since almost 30% of the Russian population uses several (two or more) devices to access the Internet. So it’s quite possible that the same person is viewing your pages from different gadgets.

It is important that you understand: web statistics is not so much in identifying numerical indicators as in understanding the behavior of visitors to your resource.

1. Relevance of the topic

As for the practical value of this graduation work, this is a system for analyzing human behavior in a web environment. Development of personal methods and algorithms for collecting data from a web environment, which are widely used in any of the web fields. This work focuses on business solutions and improving the quality of sites in general. Also, this work can be implemented in any CMS, as well as directly in the site, which makes it possible to locally and flexibly configure all the parameters for yourself and your needs based on the subject of the site. Thus, two problems are solved at once:

  1. There is no need to use third-party services, as a result, if such errors occur, it will not affect the operation of your site.
  2. Performance optimization, since it will be possible to set only the most necessary parameters for data processing that you need, without unnecessary water and information. Briefly and to the point.

2. The purpose and objectives of the study, expected results

The purpose of the study is to develop and study models and methods for analyzing the behavior of website visitors.

The main objectives of the study:

  1. Analyze the need for analyzing human behavior on the Internet.
  2. Develop a model of the web environment and human behavior.
  3. Develop criteria for evaluating the results of analysis of website visitor behavior.
  4. Review ready-made solutions (Counters, Google Analytics, CMS web analytics systems).
  5. Make and justify the decision to create a behavior analysis system.

For the experimental evaluation of the theoretical results obtained and the formation of the foundation for subsequent research, it is planned as practical results development of a cross-platform, customizable and functional automated plug-in system for most existing sites and systems.

3. Research and Development Overview

Since this direction is very relevant in our time, there are many similar developments and everyone has their own advantages and disadvantages. Next, we will consider perhaps the two most famous and used systems. For international sources, let's take Google Analytics as the basis. From national sources you can consider the Yandex.Metrica service.

Conclusions

The result of one of the components of the master's work is the developed software module for the counter of site visits and sorting by popularity and page traffic, this is the foundation from which it will be possible to further develop the topic in any of the areas described in order to graduate work.
