Creation of the tool materials

resist to short-term high-energy influence is a urgent task and the
opportunities of their application can be extended by optimization of parameters
of structure, microhardness and stick of coverings. The traditional method of
increase of cutting properties of the tool adding elements now restrains in
connection with deficiency of a number of this adding elements and thereof practically important
task becomes search scientifically - are proved of modes of additional
processing of the tool.
The vacuum ion-plasma coverings on a
surface of the cutting tool allow to raise its resistance to deterioration at
operation, to expand borders of technological opportunities and to reduce the
charge of tool materials, and also to improve quality of the processed surface
of details. However some laws of formation of structure both structure of
blanket and their operational characteristics remain while not clear.
