Biography
Anatoliy Anatolyevich Zori was born on
December 11, in 1941 in the city of Donetsk. After finishing a secondary
school with a gold medal he had entered Donetsk Polytechnic Institute (DPI)
in the electrotechnical faculty which he graduated with an excellent mark
in 1964 by speciality "Automation and Telemechanics". For some
period of time Mr. Zori had been working as an Assistant and a Senior Lecturer
at the Chair of Automation and Telemechanics. Then there were study and
work at Donetsk State University. From 1969 to 1972 Mr. Zori
had been the Candidate and during 1973 had been working as a Senior Lecturer at the Chair of Technical Means of Control System. From 1974 to 1979 he
had been the Senior Lecturer at this Chair; from 1974 to 1979 Mr. Zori
had been occupying the position of Deputy Dean. During 10 months A.A.
Zori had been working on probation at Dresen Technical University in Germany.
Since 1979 Mr. Zori has been working as
a senior lecture at the a chair of Automation and Telemechanics at Donetsk
Polytechnic Institute and as a Chair Manager since 1993 and up to now.
A Dean of the Computer based control systems department. A Candidate of
Technical Science (1972), an Senior Lecture (1974), a Doctor of Technical
Science (1992), a Professor of the Industrial Electronics Department (1994).
He is the founder and the first Chair Manager of the Electronic Engineering
Department.
He is also the author of a manual with stamp of Ministry of High Education
"Reliability of electronic devices of automatics, information and
computer systems (1996, co-authors Ì. I. Makarov , O. B. Zhadan).
A.A. Zori has formed a great scientific
orientation in the sphere of elaboration of methods and means of measurements
of hydrophysical and ecological parameters of water habitat on the basis
of effective informational and measuring systems of heightened accuracy
and speed of operation.
A.A. Zori has prepared 6 candidates of science.
He is also the first Vice-President of the particularized counsel on protection
of candidate dissertations. A.A. Zori has published 180 research works
including 40 copyright certificates regarding inventions. Among his publications
there are monographs "Automation of Contact Methods of the Ocean
Probe" (1991, co-authors G.P. Yeryemin, V.N. Stanisenko) "Methods
and Means, Systems of Measurement and Control of Parameters of Water Habit"
(2000, co-authors V.D. Korenyev, M.G. Khlamov issued in Ukrainian and
Russian languages).
A.A. Zori was a member of the Ukrainian
Technological Academy (1994), in 1996 he was a Vice-Chairman of Donbass
Regional Department UTA, A Corresponding Member of Petrovsakaya Science
and Art Academy.
Zori Anatoliy Anatolyevich has the following
awards: two silver medals of the Exhibition of National Economy Achievements
of the USSR and Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, three bronze ones,
a number of prizes of the Exhibition of National Economy Achievements
of the USSR and Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, a gold medal and
the prize of Leipzig Fair of 1988 ( Germany), medal " Inventor of
the USSR" and "For Excellent Successes in Work", "For
Services in Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Accreditation".
For prominent services in the sphere of technical and natural sciences
A.A. Zori is inscribed in the British Collection ' Outstanding Persons
of XXI Century" and awarded with a name silver medal and the diploma
of the International Cambridge Biographic Center ( Great Britain, 2001).
