I, Zakhachenko Artyom Alexandrovich, was born on May 13, 1982 in the town of Novozybkov, Bryansk region, Russia. In 1987 my parents and I moved to the town of Dzerzhinsk, Donetsk region, Ukraine. When a child, I was very fond of sports games and independently studied elementary mathematics.

          In 1989 I joined school ¹3 in Dzerzhinsk. Besides, beginning from 13 years old, I had been studying successfully at the mathematics college under Donetsk National University for 3 years. At the 10th form I was attracted by Chemistry. This subject was almost a piece of cake for me, so that I was able to prepare independently and pass a competitive examination for entering Donetsk National Technical University, the speciality "Chemical Technology of Fuel & Carbonous Materials", the Faculty of Ecology & Chemical Technology.

          I frequently took part in town's school competitions in Chemistry, Mathematics, History. I also happened to try my knowledge in a regional school competition in Chemistry.
          From 8 to 12 years old I used to attend a wrestling section. I won the 1st prize in the town's competitions not once and therefore was a frequent participator in regional and even international tournaments.
          From 12 to 17 years old I was going in for football. I played as a left back in the local football team "Shakhtyor", which struggled for the regional championship annually and took the 2nd & 3d places in its best seasons.

          I've always thought that the most important sphere of people's activities is economics. As you know, the basis of economics is industry, and the chemical branch is of essential significance. So, work in this field must be prestige and well-paid.
          Judging from the mentioned above I've made my mind that I will work at a chemical enterprise on a directing posture. To realize it, one needs a higher education. In 1999 I entered DonNTU, the speciality "Chemical Technology of Fuel & Carbonous Materials", the Faculty of Ecology & Chemical Technology.

          Studying at the University I took part in the University competitions in organic & inorganic chemistry twice and won the 2nd & the 1st places accordingly. When a four-year student, I won the 4th place at the overcountry competition in speciality "Chemical Technology of Fuel & Carbonous Materials".
          Besides, during the first 4 years at the University I studied English additionally at the Department of Foreign Languages. As a result I received the Intermediate Certificate. In the 9th term I combined studies and work.

          At the Department of Chemical Fuel Technology special attention is paid to studying the process of coking and recycling of its chemical products. Primary cooling of coke gas has a notable importance for the latter, as the quality of catching chemical combinations and the fullness of decantation from noxious components depend on the gas temperature.
          Drawbacks of realizing this process cause spending a lot of electrical energy, metal, working resources at performing enterprises. That's why the theme of my dissertation is the following: "Researching of the mechanism and ways of intensification of heat transferring during the cooling of coke gas".

          My scientific leader Grebenyuk Alexander Fyodorovich is a real connoisseur in this question, that is he's "a giant, on whose shoulders I'm standing". There is also a possibility to use specialized literature, in particular - magazine "Coke & Chemistry". One more very important source of information is industrial practice.

          My task is to research the process as deep as possible in order to find a way to minimize the expenditures for its fulfilling and to propose a project of the most rational performing of the primary cooling of the gas. The result of my work is supposed to be realized at a coking chemical plant.

          Every person endeavours to find a job he would like. If he succeeds he is able to generate various ideas and make them work, to provide conditions for the necessary process, to organize people for realizing projects. I'm very interested in economics, I just feel it. I see my future professional activity only in the sphere of economics, though I'm studying at a technical University.
