2. The Chair of "The Enterprise Economy"
The chair was founded in 1990 and is emerging. During this period about 450 students have graduated.
The chair trains the bachelors and specialists on specialty 07.050106 " Accounting and audit " for:
The specialist can occupy an accountant position of all ranks, financial worker, auditor, inspector - controller, financial manager. The chair prepares also masters on the given specialty for scientific establishments and updating of personnel structure of the chair.
The doctor of economic sciences, professor Gavrilenko Valentin Andreevich has been ahead of the chair since 1990. Three professors, one of them the doctor of economic sciences; five senior lecturers, candidates of economic sciences; two senior teachers and six assistants are working presently at the chair.
Alongside with humanitarian, fundamental and general economic subjects, which are included into their normative list, the students on professional training study the following blocks of disciplines:
An educational process on the given specialty is built on combination of traditional and active training methods, regular control of the students' knowledge.
A special attention the chair pays to methodical maintenance of course papers, diploma thesis and control works, and also realization of practical trainings.

The chair keeps in touch with the newspaper " All about accounting ", with federation of the professional accountants and auditors of Ukraine, with other Universities of Ukraine.
Scientific interests of the chair:
About 15-16 scientific works are published annually basing on scientific results.
The chair " Economy of the enterprise " was founded on September the 1, 1985, and was called " The Economy of a machine-building industry ". The chair foundation was carried out with the purpose to satisfy an increased requirements in the specialists on economy. In 1994, in accordance with changes in specialists profile, which were happening in educational sphere under the influence of market transformations, specialists training on speciality " Economy of the enterprise " for various brunches of industry was begun, therefore name of the chair was changed.
The first head of the chair was professor, senior lecturer of economic science Babich V.P. While being in the chief position he has contributed a lot both into formation and development of the chair, and in formation of educational process on speciality. Also professor Babich V.P. has founded a powerful scientific direction on organization of work payment at the industrial enterprises, which development has allowed to train a lot of specialists of a high scientific level. Under his guidance 14 post-graduate students have successfully defended the dissertations, the magority of them now work at chair. During the further development of the chair, it was headed by professor, senior lecturer of economic science Plaksin V.I (1992-1993) and professor, senior lecturer of economic science Kovaleva A.I. (1993-1994). Since September 1994 professor, senior lecturer of economic science Hobta V.M. has been ahead of "Economy of the enterprise " chair.
The high educational level of specialists is achieved due to the chair professors and lecturers professionalism. 65 % of whom are doctors and candidates of economic sciences. The stuff of the chair is constantly updated with the postgraduate students and the most perspective graduates of university.
The chair carries out trainings and emerges specialists on a specialty " Economy of the enterprise ", provides economic disciplines training process on other specialties and at chair of the stuff retraining. To satisfy the requirements of Ukrainian economy the chair has provided with the new market focused disciplines: "Investment activity ", "Privatization", " investment activity organization and economy", " International business activity ", " Project analysis ", " Internal economic mechanism of the enterprise " and others. The chair actively participates in training of the university masters, who follow the course " Investment projection of engineering decisions " presented by the chair. More then 50 methodical manuals have been issued by the lecturers of the chair. The methodical developments are based on advanced achievements in the field of both methods and ways of computer facilities and computer technology for the economic problems solution.
The stuff of the chair carries out research in various areas of enterprise economics. The new scientific direction devoted to the problem of innovation activities management, which has been created by the professor Hobta V.M., and has already received further development in accordance with the transition requirements of domestic economy to the market economy. The researches on the following directions are conducted: rational use of enterprise resources (docent Shvec I.B), potential usage efficiency increase of low-calorie fuel (lecturer Savinov M.M.).
17 post-graduate students and competitors are trained on the directions mentioned above. More than 40 scientific publications are issued annually as a results of scientific and research work. The various recommendations and methodical rules are prepared which have been successfully implemented into educational process and are used on the industrial enterprises of Ukraine. During the last 5 years on chair have issued four pornographies and defended two doctor's and two candidate dissertations.
The chair manages scientific and research activity of the students, which results are reported at scientific seminars, conferences and are published in scientific clauses. The majority of the students' scientific researches are carried out on the enterprises' order, therefore more than 95 % of development received while writing diploma thesis, have been implemented and successfully used.
The chair keeps close scientific contact with the main universities of Ukraine, research and scientific organizations, enterprises and state administration. For long time the chair cooperates with the Magdeburg University.
