Konstantin Marenich - manager of the department of mining electrical engineering and automatics (МEA); candidate of technical science, assistant professor of department МEA; director of representation "Sterling Group Ukraine" in Donetsk region.

Konstantin Marenich was born on 10 March 1958 in Donetsk.

In 1980 he graduated Donetsk polytechnical institute on a speciality "Electrification and automatization of underground mining works".

Since 1980 - engineer of SRD DSTU. Since 1983 - younger scientific employee.

Since 1990 he had worked as assistant of the department of mining electrical engineering and automatics (МEA).

In 1991 he has defended a thesis on competition for a scientific degree "candidate of technical science" on a speciality "Electrotechnical Complexes and Systems").

Since 1992 he is assistant professor of department МEA.

Since 01.09.1999 he is manager of department МEA.
Since 01.12.1999 he is director of representation "Sterling Group Ukraine" in Donetsk region.

Scientific achievements

Since 1990 Konstantin supervises over works on creation and input in industrial operation loading devices bazed on tiristors for preoperational rolling driving blocks of scraper conveyors at the Kharkov machine-building factory.

Since 1996 supervises over study of post-graduate students, works in the Specialized council on protection of master's theses. Under his management 1 master's thesis is protected.

Since 2000 supervises over development of microprocessor control systems by power miner low-voltage switching devices (listed products of factories of a hardened electric equipment).

Konstantin is one of creator of normative and technical document: "Technical requirements to a miner hardened electric equipment with power semi-conductor devices a voltage up to 1140 V".

Konstantin published more then 100 scientific articles, including, 29 inventions, 1 monography; theoretical substantiation of parameters and circuit decisions device bazed on tiristors APM-1 of control of start-up of the electric drive of the mining machine (joint development DNTU and joint-stock company "Automatgormash" (in the name V. Antipov), release is mastered on a factory of mine automatics in Makeyevka). The organizer and the participant of mining industrial tests and pre-production operation experimental and pre-production models the device, bazed on tiristors.
