Was born on 20 July, 1956 in Dresden GDR.

In 1978 he was graduate from the Donetsk Polytechnic Institute by the speciality "Automatics and telemechanics".

From 1978 till 1996 he worked in a scientific research institute "Avtomatgormash named after V. Antipov".

In 1993 hе has defenced the candidate's thesis by the speciality "Mine machines - a electrotechnical complexes including their control" on a theme "Reduction of the dynamic loads and increasing to efficiency of the detail system of the presenting winning combine".

Since 2000 and till now works on the department "Mine electrical engineering and automatics" in Donetsk national technical university.

The most important production achievements: manufacturing application of the equipment for automation of the winning combine KD-А, equipment for automation of the flight conveyor AUP-110 and the relay of the leakage AZU and BKZ.

Problems of the researches on present-day: systems for protection from leakage of the current to the ground in system with transistor converter of the frequency.
