22-nd of June 1983 I was born in Ukraine in the Donetsk region's little town called Kirovskoye once in 1993 I learned how to make computer do something useful First language and platform is ZX Spectrum Basic. once in 1996 Second language and platform is Prolog and IBM PC. Fondness of Prolog can be explained by another way of thinking to write applications on this language. First program on PC platform was implementation of J. Convey's «Life» cellular automata. once in 1997 I found inconvenient to do usual algorithmic things on Prolog. That's why I learned C. I found C brilliant for writing structured programs. A little later I found the one disadvantage of C. That was impossibility to define variables just before their usage ( C syntax requires defining variables before any operator computes something). once in 1998 I found inconvenient to design user interface on MS-DOS Turbo C. I saw Delphi and immediately learned Pascal. I rewrote «Life» on Win32 platform without hesitations and began being interested in game development and learned basics of OpenGL, COM and DirectX. once in 2000 I finished local high school and entered «Software of computer-aided systems» speciality (computer science) of Donetsk National Techinal University. since 2001 Have been working for IT department of DonNTU. I gained my first experience with MS SQL Server databases, BDE, team development, document circulation, etc. and finished many successful projects. summer 2001 I worked on component-oriented project dedicated to hardware designing software (Visual C++, COM, SQL Server back-end). I was implementing several business-level functions. autumn-winter 2002 I was working with colleagues-students on CHM implementation of operational systems' electronic library. autumn-winter 2002 Municipal project concerning computation of chemical pollution as a result of ecocatastrophes in Donetsk city. summer 2004 I earned bachelor degree (diploma with distinction) in computer science. since summer 2004 I have been working as a freelancer on RentACoder.com. and completed several projects concerning remote launching of applications on Windows systems unique database management for different database brand names and many simple projects. 2002-2003 I was taking part in ACM contest (Semi-final) in a group of three students since autumn 2004 I have been studying as a candidate to master's degree in computer science. after 2006 All my future life will be connected with software engineering, learning people software needs and providing high-quality software. I will work in a team of well-qualified specialists and nonordinary people at all. So that I will be able to say: «Think different» is a slogan not only Apple's but my team colleagues' as well.
