      I, Chornovol Ekaterina Pavlovna, was born on June, 22, 1984 in the town of Jasinovataja of Donetsk area.
      My childhood passed in a big family. My father’s name is Chornovol Paul Yamelanovich and mother is Chornovol Elena Grigorjevna. They grew me up in the atmosphere of love, honesty and mutual understanding. A big attention in my bringing up was given to reading. I preferred classical, psychological novels and biographies of famous people.
       On September 1, 1990 I went to secondary school ¹6. I was an inquisitive and hardworking child, therefore I studied easily, and I can recollect school days with love. I finished every academic year with excellent marks and was rewarded by the certificate of honour. I expected new knowledge, impressions and new friends from each academic year. I participated and won some school and town Olympiads in mathematics, history and English language while studing in the senior classes. I attended extra-classes in dancing, theatre and psychology when I had some free time.
      I left school in 2001 with a golden medal. I entered Donetsk National Technical University to study Automatic Control of Technological Processes and Productions.
      I took part in scientific conferences with reports, my articles were published in some university scientific collections. In May, 2005 I took part in the fifth International scientific and technical conference of post-graduate students and students ‘Automation of technological objects and processes’ with the report «The basic aspects of problematic of current’s protection of mining electrical power system». In 2005 I received the diploma of a winner of university competition of students’ scientific works 2005/2006 in section "Mining" for the paper «Modeling of short circuit of mining electrical power system».
      My supervisor is Konstantin Nikolaevich Marenych, a head of the department «Mining Electrotechnics & Automation», an excellent professional and simply remarkable person. He supported my aspiration to be a master of science.
       The theme of my master work «Research of processes in mining electrical power system and substantive of parameters for automation current’s protection». I think the investigation in this field is actual these days, because safety problem of miners and incident-free works of mine equipment are important and demand scientific research.
      When I was a third-year student I was sent to the institute “Automatgormash” to do my summer practice. I worked at that enterprise in the department of Automation of mountain machines for half a year.
      I met a lot of good people and real professionals and acquired a lot of knowledge in my specialty during the academiec years.
       In the near future I am going to realize the plans in career and private life. I know that professional knowledge and skills received at university will allow me to achieve my objects successfully.
