I, Novikov Roman Nikolayevich, was born on 30th June 1984 in the city of Donetsk. I live in Budennovsky district of the city of Donetsk.
My family:
Father, Novikov Nikolay Vladimirovich, was born on 7th January 1952, finished Donetsk industrial secondary school and Higher school of labour movement named after N.M. Shvernik in Moscow. He is the Head of the State Supervision Department in coal-mining industry of Donetsk Region inspectorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Mother, Novikova Olga Timofeevna, was born on 24th April 1954, finished a secondary school of light industry. At present she is a housewife.
Sister, Takhtarova Irina Nikolaevna, was born on 26th December 1976, finished vocational School № 131 in Donetsk. At present she is an operator of computer type-setting in Proletarsky state coal-mining technical inspection. She is married, has a son. He was born on 30th October 2000.
After kindergarten, I started my studies at Donetsk secondary School № 147. My favourite school subjects were Mathematics, Physics and Labour Training. My pieces of work, wood carvings took first places at school competitions. In the course of time my school inclinations became my hobbies. Besides, I like embroidery, playing the guitar, drawing. At school I took an active part in different projects, performances and events.
Having left the school, I have pleasant recollections of my school years.
In 2001, I chose Donetsk National Technica University for my further studies, specialty "Accident Prevention in Labour Activities".
I chose this specialty taking into consideration its importance in our region. It was interesting to study from the first days. I got acquaited with new people and it was pleasant for me to socialize with the students. I made a lot of friends. My years spent at university will be unforgettable because it is the happiest time of my life.
In 2005, I got a bachelor's degree and applied for master's degree studies at Donetsk National Technica University.
At present, I am working at collecting materials for my master's degree work the subject of which is: "Risk minimisation of coal and gas emissions while developing Livensky coal-bed in the M.I. Kalinin mine of "Donetskugol".
The supervisor of my researeh is Professor, Doctor of Sciences, Victor Ignatievich Nikolin,who is one of the leading and respected scientists of Ukraine and the former Soviet Union.
My master's degree studies mean receiving new knowledge, getting acquainted and socializing with interesting people.
My further plans are, firstly, to successfully graduate from the University and to further develop my personality.
After getting a master's degree, I am planning to find a job having which I will be able to realize my full potential.
