Short biography
I was born in 1984 on 23 of July in the city of Donetsk. I went to à kindergarten when I was three.
My studying at school began from the second form, because I have finished my first form in the kindergarten. I went to the second form of the school #69 which is situated in our city. After eighth form I left school #69 and continued my education at the school #17, specialized in physics and mathematics. This change of school was quite difficult. I had to improve my knowledge in math and physics. Also, I learned programming in Turbo Pascal. In 2001, I finished the school number 17 with gold medal. While studying at school I was going to the ball dancing club and chemistry study group. I began going to the ball dancing club when I was in the second form. The first club was the club in the school number 69. The second club was situated in the Lenin Palace of Culture. I took part in different region competitions. My best achievement in the competitions was sixth place.
Eleventh form is the time of final examinations and parting with school. Also, in the eleventh form we face the problem of choosing our future profession. As for me, I had four alternatives: chemistry, economics, law and computer science. After some time the variants of economic and chemistry educations were rejected. So only two of them left on the scales: juridical and computer science. The main factors that influenced my choice were The Day of Open Doors in The Donetsk National University and my high score at the preliminary entrance examinations which was organized by Donetsk National Technical University. The score which I got at this exam was enough for being awarded a scholarship for education without taking regular examinations. This was the main psychological factor which made great influence on my choice.
The next step was the choice of specialization. There were four specializations at the faculty of computer science and informatics: economic cybernetics (EC), system programming (SP), computer systems and networks (CS) and software engineering (SE). According to recommendation of senior lecturer (docent) S. V. Teplinskyy I have chosen CS.
In my third year at the university, I did practical work in the "DonetskCoal" Company. I also, did practical work in Poland twice (in August 2004 and August-September 2005). I was at the Polish branch of American firm Aldec. In 2004 I was in Gdansk at the seaside of cold Baltic Sea. I developed a memory testing processor for HES-boards. I did my second practical work in Katowice in 2005. This time I did the analysis of test packets for the software product Riviera and also developed of new test packets for it. At weekends I had free time for traveling around the Poland. I was in Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynya, Krakov, and Hel peninsula and in other cities of Poland. In my opinion, Poland is a nice small country with kind and affable people. After entering the EC Poland becomes more beautiful than it was.
During my life, I visited Poland, Egypt, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary. All of these trips were tourist ones. As for me, Egypt is a country with old traditions. Its population consists of hawkers who try to sell something to you. As for the rest in Egypt it's brilliant. Red Sea is the best place I have ever seen. This was a very exotic holiday in winter, I enjoyed it very much.
My scientific supervisor is senior lecturer (docent) Y. E. Zinchenko. The topic of my master's work is “Development of hardware and software structures for a control device of probe diagnostic system based on HDL- and FPGA-technologies”.
As for my plans, I am going to receive the master's degree. After that I will have to choose between continuing my study or going to industry. I prefer to work with HDL- and FPGA-technologies and I'd try to find some work related to these technologies. But there aren't many firms in our country which work in this field so it's possible that I will have some problems with my job. There are a lot of companies outside of Ukraine but I don't want to work abroad. So soon I will have to choose again and that choice will have a great influence on all my life.
