Childhood
My name is Lena, my family
name is Sergeeva. I was born on the 20th of January in 1984,
in the town of Makeevka, Donetsk region, Ukraine. My mother’s name is
Ludmila and she is a physics teacher. My father’s name is Juriu and he
is a section manager at Makeevka metallurgical industrial complex.
I went to the nursery when I
was 3, where I spent my happy childhood. When I was 5 my father left our
family. Frankly speaking, I wasn’t really upset, because our life became
quieter.
School
I went to school in 1991, I
have been studying there till 1994. I was a good pupil.
In 1994 my mother began to
work at Makeevka Lyceum and I continued my studying there, though I
didn’t want it much, because I didn’t want to leave my friends.
But telling the truth, I
liked studying there. A lot of different interesting competitions and
contests were held there. I wasn’t a leader, but I had many good friends.
In 1995 I took part in reader’s contest, that was devoted to the 9th of May. I read
the poem of Tvardovsky, named “Father and Son”. I won the 1st
place.
I’ve always liked exact
science. I was taking part in different olympiads in physics and wrote
the science work in mathematics with my teacher Pilugina T.M. on the
theme of “The connection of music and geometry”. Due to this fact I won
the 3rd place in region competitions.
I finished Lyceum with gold medal. Then the last bell rang at school I knew
I had already become a student.
Hobby
In 1992 I entered a music
school at piano class. I liked to study there. I had started playing the
piano since 5. My mother is my first teacher. And I was one of the best
pupils. I still love classical music. I like ballet and operetta.
Despite this I also like some modern groups and singers, such as Sting,
Pink Floyd, Scorpions, Adriano Chelentano, Jo Cocker, Irina Bilyk, I.
Talkov, “Ocean Elzi ” and others.
I had many hobbies. Before
school I was going in for acrobatics, and when I was a schoolgirl I was
taken up with dancing. I liked skating very much and, frankly speaking I
dreamt of being a figure skater. I always watched figure skating on TV
and even tried to imitate my favorite performers.
I really love literature.
When I had no opportunity to read I tried to memorize fairy tales.
Character
I have always believed in
justice and honesty. But unfortunately honest people are really rare in
our society. But no matter what happens I try to be the girl,
who believes in true, real love and bright future.
University
I’ve always liked exact
science. So, I decided to enter the Donetsk Technical University. Since
September 2000, I had attended the courses at this University. The
choice of specialty wasn’t spontaneous. When I read about all the
faculties and specialties, I chose the Automatic Control Systems
speciality.
The studying was really
interesting. Here I met many good people and found my best friends. I
hope we’ll be together for a long time. I had an opportunity to live in
student prophylactory. There I understood what the student life is.
In 2005 I entered the
magistracy. The theme of my master work is “Computer subsystem of the
calendar planning in a build enterprise”. I think, it’s really important
to plan the manufacturing in such way, that it should make a profit and
wouldn’t have problems with personnel.
My science supervisor’s name is Orlov Juriu Konstantinovich. I chose him when I was on the 3rd
course. I never had problems in communicating with him and I think he is
one of the fairest teachers on our chair.
Plans for future
The main thing for me now is
to find a good job, which will help me to show not only all my
abilities, but will also give long shillings too. I would like to work
in a bank or have my own firm. And of course I want to have a happy
family because I guess this is the real happiness for every woman.
