Synopsis

The actuality of theme. Since the USSR had been disintegrated Donetsk industry infrastructure changed greatly: a plenty of enterprises reduced by the issue of products, or in general halted their activity (ÎÀÎ «Donetskkoks», ÎÀÎ of «Donetskgormash», Donetsk Factory of Chemical Goods, etc), new branches of production appeared (SP «Kargil», LTD «Merolla-Pelle», LTD «Makmay» and others). From year to year vehicle park is increasing on the city roads. Climate conditions are changing in Donetsk, too: the temperature of air (especially in a winter period) is getting higher, the wind primary direction is changing, there are some vibrations in the amount of precipitations. All these facts make the city atmospheric air monitoring system the necessary one. More than 70 contaminating substances come into the air pool, among which nitrogen dioxide occupies the leading place with 2-3 times permanent exceeding of breaking point concentration. Thus, the determinating of the main nitrogen dioxide depositors in atmospheric air contamination and developing nature protection measures for them are the basic stage in monitoring of this contaminating subatance sources.

The aim of work to set conformities to the law of Donetsk atmospheric air contamination with nitrogen dioxide for the development of dependences, which allow to forecast the levels atmospheric air contamination, and on this basis to offer the measures according to the city ecological situation improvement.

The object of research is the atmospheric air of Donetsk city.

The subject of research is the conformities to the law of atmospheric air contamination.

Tasks, decided in master's degree work:

  1. Collection and analysis of nitrogen dioxide contamination sources data.
  2. Calculation of nitrogen dioxide dispersion in atmospheric air during unfavorable meteorological conditions.
  3. Establishment of conformities to the law of Donetsk atmospheric air contamination with nitrogen dioxide.
  4. Development of mathematical models for forecasting the level of air pool contamination with nitrogen dioxide.
  5. Development of recommendations according to improving the quality of Donetsk atmospheric air.

The methods of researches are collection, systematization and statistical analysis of data as to the contamination of Donetsk air pool with f nitrogen dioxide; correlation and regressive analyses; methods of mathematical modelling; variantal calculations of nitrogen dioxide dispersion in atmospheric air.
