Short autobiography
Childhood
I was born in May, 12, 1985 in town Volzhskiy in Volgograd district of RSFSR (USSR). My parents: Dovgan Yuriy Nikolaevich is an engineer of food processing equipment; Dovgan' Tat'yana Viktorovna is an engineer-technologist of dairy production, both graduated from Voronezh technological institute.
I was a smart boy and began running already in 8,5 months. I went to kindergarten at 3. In 3,5 I knew an alphabet, and in 4 years I read pretty well. In kindergarten I participated in all fancies and festivals. The meaningful events of my childhood were two moves: one - to a new apartment in Volzhskiy, other - to Ukraine. These moves were accompanied with the new impressions, appearance of new acquaintances, friends, hobbies.
In a year after we came to Ukraine in Enakievo I went to SCS №38 in where I was studying for three years. The classes were rather easy for me. In a period of junior school we bought a bicycle which was my biggest passion in childhood.
School
After the third class I passed to the fifth form of SCS №25. This school was better by the financial providing, it was nearer to my home. At this school a bias was done on mathematics and English. I took part in city contests in mathematics, physics, chemistry, law, Ukrainian, won the first place in contest at chemistry. As a member of school team I participated in city sport and military-patriotic competitions. New hobby was football. I played in a school team, in the city football team Yugostal (Enakievo). Favorite subjects at school were physical training, mathematics, geography, unloved was history.
A question of choosing institute never stood sharply. From junior school I was prepared morally to that I would enter technical institute and study for an engineer. A question chosen direction emerged already at the beginning of 11 form. I began preparation for entering two institutes - Donetsk national technical university and Donbass state machine-building academy (Kramatorsk). То enter DonNTU I participated in 2 and 3d rating testing of 2002 at mathematics. In DSMBA I passed two exams at mathematics and Ukrainian. Gained results allowed me to enter both institutes on satisfactory conditions. A chose DonNTU, because it was the biggest institute in an area, it is respected in Ukraine and over the world.
A choice of speciality was short and simple for me, because I knew a little about all specialities and judged about them only by the name. The main factor for determination in choice was that for entering to (FVTI) and (FKITA) faculty it was needed to pass exam at informatics, and I did not have sufficient knowledge in this area. Therefore I chose the best accessible speciality to me from my point of view «Automated control of technological processes and production». Final examinations at school passed easily for me, and school-leaving party - merrily, because I was not concerned with exams. The whole summer vacation allowed me to rest and prepare to the study in university.
The first impression about university for me was formed during passing entering exams. I was impressed with the lectures. I wanted to be attached to that world of science. The only thing that scared me was a session.
University
The main fascination during studies in university is a computer. My speciality is not directly related to computer, therefore I had to learn from my friends in hostel. I didn’t have the special achievements during studying in university.
