Theme of work - « Decrease of rock dumps harmful influence of coal mines on a natural environment due to development and ground their parameters replacement »

Urgency of a theme.

For today on the territory of Donetsk area there are approximately 582 rock dumps, which were formed as a result of work of collieries and concentrating factories, among them more than 130 burns. Rock dumps are places legislatively established for accommodation of waste products, in this case rock dumps. Rock dumps render harmful influence on surrounding natural environment, on air, water and ground. First of all as a result of a dust of rock dumps air, ground and reservoirs located near rock dumps are polluted and also in case of burning rock dumps there is an additional pollution of the surrounding natural environment by products of burning. In consequence as a result of adverse ecological conditions the population is subject to a plenty of a different sort of diseases therefore duration of his life decreases. On the basis of abovementioned it is necessary to solve the problem on improvement of ecological conditions that is decrease in harmful influence of rock dumps on surrounding natural environment. For this purpose there is a line of technologies, it is first of all to leave rock dumps in mine, putting out and verturous rock dumps and use of rock dumps as building material. For successful application of these technologies it is necessary to have the full information of the conditions of rock dumps, their chemical properties and changes recently taken place.

The purpose of work – an establishment of regularities of development and influence of rock dumps of Donetsk area on surrounding natural environment by the analysis and changes of their parameters for development of recommendations on rational use of rock as secondary resource and protection of the surrounding natural environment.

The idea of work consists in the analysis of rock dumps parameters and their recent change and the development of recommendations on decrease in negative influence of rock dumps on surrounding natural environment.

The problems decided in masters work:

1. The system analysis rock dumps mines of Donbass as sources of raw material for the industry.
2. Carrying out of the analysis of key parameters of rock dumps, an establishment of laws and development the models describing dynamics of change of parameters of rock dumps.
3. Substantiation of directions and criteria of rational use the rock dumps.
4. Development of recommendations on perfection of the conducting accounting documentation of rock dumps.
5. Economic substantiation of technological decisions on use of rock dumps.

Methods of research – ordering, generalization and the statistical analysis of the data about rock dumps; imitating and object-oriented modeling.
