Briefly about myself
Ñhildhood:
I was born on 1 October 1984 in a small village Bokovo-Platovo, Lugansk region. My parents: father Paskalny Andrey Nicolaevich, 1962, is a miner; mother Paskalnaya Tatyana Grigorievna, 1961, is a music teacher. I have a sister Natalya, she is 4 years younger that me. I went to a kindergarten, here I liked communicate with other children. When I was a child I liked to listen to fairy-tales and knew a lot of poems. I was a curious child. Thanks to my mother by the age of 6 I had learned all the letters and could count. So, I was ready to go to school.
Ñhildhood and school:
I went to school in 1991. My first teacher was very strict, that is why, thought I didn’t like studying, I was taught to work very hard. My favorite subject was mathematics. I participated in many contests. When I was 8 I went to a music school, I was taught to play the accordion. I didn’t like it. Eventually, three years later I gave up musical school. When I went to a fifth form to study was more difficult, as we had different teachers in different subjects. But still it was more interesting than in the primary school. I studied very hard and I succeeded in this. While I was at school I participated in many sports and entertainment contests, I was a member of our KVN team, and with it I took part in the town contests. My most prominent success was the 1st place in the town Olympiad in mathematics. I finished 9 forms wish distinction. Then I continued studies at some other school. I had a new form, new class-mates, new friends and teachers, but it didn’t affect my marks. I finished secondary school with distinction (although without a medal). At school I started to think about my future career, but it seemed that the time of entrance was far ahead.
The choice of the high school and training:
When I studied in the eleventh form I thought about my future profession too much. There were many roads before me. But I decided that my future profession must be important and needed for everybody. At last I chose Donetsk National Technical University and specialty mining engineer and geomechanic, because the coal industry is the leading in our region and it needs professional workers. After the successful exams I entered DonNTU.
The first days of studies at the university were very difficult for me, because I had to get used to new conditions of life. After a month I adopted to everything. I worked very hard and I fulfilled everything. The following terms were different. There were ups and down, gladness and disappointments. But I can tell that these years are the best of all in my life.
The title of my master's degree thesis sounds like: "Measures aimed at prevention and decrease of floor rock heaving in mine workings". I chose it not accidentally, because this theme is important for many mines, and the successful decision of this problem will allow to decrease expenses on the protection of mine workings as well as coal cost price. The supervisor of my work has been engaged in this question for many years and he is a good specialist in this drea of science.
My future plans:
I would like to be a good specialist first of all and continue my work in the scientific department of the university. Of course I’d like to make something useful for my native country and the coal industry in general. I have one dream to visit foreign countries. I want to get experience of work at foreign enterprises.
