Middle mark in the period of studies in university was 4,87. I speak Russian, Ukrainian and English. At the level of the advanced user manage the personal computer (MS Office, Internet, Photoshop). I have work experience as a machinist of enrichment equipment, grade II. I'm fond of music, literature, journalism and blogging, military field miniature, animation, photography, independent and vintage cinema.
Let me introduce myself: my name is Dmitry Pavlov. I think, there is no need to tell you much about my babyhood, I’ll only give the short list of facts: I was born in the family of an engineer and a pediatrician on February 13, 1986, in Donetsk. From three to six years I went to the kindergarten «Zhuravushka». I got the first experience of relations with the representatives of gentle sex there. I took the last place while protecting the honour of the establishment in the football competitions, and have never been interested in sports since that time.
Reading was the main passion of the first fifteen years of my life. Unfortunately, I got añquainted with it rather late – at the age of seven. After that my careful and deep research in the contents of the bookcases began. Fortunately, a vast home library allowed me to do it. From fairy-tales and simple children's literature I got over to the shelves with detective stories. The Strugatsky brothers’ works opened a world of science fiction for me at the age of thirteen. Changing the third dozen of years I lost the interest in fiction and started to prefer the classic literature and avant-garde poetry.
I beg your pardon for the retreat of the cold exactness of the chronology, let's return to the past. In 1993 I entered the 1"C" class of secondary school #9. I finished the primary school with a praiseworthy diploma and after that I haven't risen at such educational heights. Acquaintance with the music of «The Beatles» was a turning-point in my life. The impression was so strong, that I was taken ill with beatlomania for few years. In the course of time I began to open other sides of rock-music. Nothing could be compared to magic of quietly scratching record and mysterious voice of Jim Morrison leading far, far away...
Ten years of general study stretched unhurried. Slowly in the beginning, quicker – at the finish. Unlike most children, I was free from load of various groups and sections, preferring self-perfection in quiet home surroundings. However, I joined the "Able hands" extra-school activities for some time, where I learned to distinguish a screwdriver from a hammer and a screw-bolt from a nail. Since school natural sciences, literature and history were of most interest for me. I had strained relations with mathematics and did not reflect about coming prospects of profession determination.
Child's dreams to become a geologist or a philosopher were not taken seriously – romanticism of distant countries and depths of human mind badly combine with pragmatism of capitalist society. So I decided to go in footsteps of my father and to become an engineer. It should be said, that it was my father who always had the greatest influence on me and I am unspeakably thankful to him for that.
It is impossible to name the university entering procedure neither fascinating non complicated. Nothing difficult at first sight, but it didn't do without nuances. But the results of the interview showed: "to recommend Dmitry Pavlov for enlisting as a student at the DonNTU". In that way a new, yet more interesting, life started...
...When the time passes in a more interesting way, it flies quickly. This simple existential axiom, noticed yet by Marsel Prust, becomes more clear when we become adults. Seventeen weeks of semester flew as the instants of Maxim Isaev, abandoning us in private with a session. But thanks to the Bologna process! The comfortable module system allows to considerably simplify doing a course for good students.
To study is great, but a student, which memorizes the years of doing a course only on lectures and conferences, is amazing! The brightest impressions were left by remarkable acquaintances, tender passions of springs, jazz festivals and merry carefree days. All the things that are most desirable to imprint in memory, but it's rather difficult to express them in words...
The main thing that the university gave me besides knowledge was technical consciousness of an engineer. All that allows to give a glance at the world differently, by the eyes of a scientist, who understands the nature of things. So after getting a of diploma of a bachelor I have decided to continue studying to be a master.
