The aim of the work: Studying structurization in stainless steels at influence low temperature plasma .

Perspective direction in research of resourse-saving and ecologically pure technologies are methods of local hardening with use hight concentrated energy sources. There is method of hardening low temperature the plasma received by means of a graphite electrode also. Prominent feature of the given method is rather low cost of the equipment and simplicity of technological process. The purpose of work is studying structurization in stainless steels at influence of low temperature plasma. An investigated material are various grades steels (mainly austenitic class) and alloys of miscellaneous purposes and received from the various enterprises of Donetsk area. The initial condition, in many respects are described by microhardness, (table 1) is investigated .

As a result of the sulfilled work it can draw a conclusion, that is a structure of both hardness studied steels and alloys corresponds to austenitic to a phase. It gives a basis for the further studying structurization at processing by low temperature plasma connected with the mechanism of saturation of the strengthened surface by carbon.
