My master work’s topic is: " Research and improvement the protocol of data transmission by networks of electrosupply 220V, 50Hz for SCADA-systems "

1.Names and uses of object:

1.1.The Full name of object of designing: Protocol of data transmission by power lines of electro supply 220V, 50Hz for SCADA-systems

1.2.The Scope: SCADA-systems

1.3.A general characteristic of objects (SCADA-systems) for which the system is developed:

•means of gathering of the primary information from devices of the bottom level;

•control facilities and registration of signals about emergencies;

•means of preservation of the information with an opportunity of its post-processing;

•means of processing of the primary information;

•means of visualization of representation of the information.

2.The basis for carrying out of development: Master work’s topic

3.The purpose of development:

3.1.The purpose: With the given development economic benefit in the form of gathering and the control of the information over the removed sources without making additional lines should be provided.

3.2.Purposes of development: Achievements of concepts of the purpose of development by means of existing lines of power supplies.

4.Sources of development: works on SDWS.

5.Technical requirements:

5.1.Requirements to structure: the structure of object of designing should be blocked:

5.1.1.The block of the coordination of levels of signals of interface RS-232 and controller’s block (Block 1).

5.1.2.The block of controller for management of process (Block 2).

5.1.3.The block of the modem (Block 3).

5.1.4.The block of the coordination of levels of signals of the block of the modem with a power network of power supplies (Block 4).

5.1.5.The block of indication (Block 5).

5.1.6.The Power unit (Block 6).

5.2.Requirements to components:

5.2.1.The Block 1 should have a voltage of a feed not above 12V, a power consumption not above 100mA, to consist of standard elements and to provide transformation of a level of signals of the Block 2 (0-5V) in a level of signals of interface RS-232 (+12V – -12V) and on the contrary.

5.2.2.The Block 2 should have a voltage of a feed not above 12V, a power consumption not above 100mA.

5.2.3.Block 3 should have a voltage of a feed not above 12V, a power consumption not above 100mA, to consist of standard elements and provide realization of modem QAM-16.

5.2.4.Block 4 should have a voltage of a feed not above 12V, a power consumption not above 100mA, to consist of standard elements and provide the concordance of levels of signals of block of modem with the power network of power supply.

5.2.5.Block 5 should have a voltage of a feed not above 12V, a power consumption not above 100mA, to consist of standard elements and provide a necessary indication for comfortable control of work of device in autonomous behavior.

5.2.6.Block 6 must consist of standard elements and provide the power for all previous blocks.

5.3.Requirement to technical descriptions of separate elements: Elements of planning object must be typical and easily replaceable.

5.4.Indexes of setting.

5.4.1.Distance of connection must be no less 500m (there must not be communicate elements and transformers on a route).

5.4.2.The type of modulation QAM-16 not worse.

5.4.3.The antijamming encoding must provide EPC no less 1,5dB.

5.4.4.The bandwidth must not exceed 20MHz.

5.5.Requirement to the external environments:

5.5.1.The temperature of surrounding air must be not higher 40°Ñ. A low bound of temperature of surrounding air is -5°Ñ.

5.5.2.Relative humidity of air must not exceed 50% at the maximal temperature of 40°Ñ. At lower temperatures higher humidity is supposed.

5.5.3.The height above sea level places of an establishment should not exceed 2000 m.

5.5.4.The object should be produced for operation at influence of mechanical factors of an environment:

5.5.4.1.Vibrating loading:

•Range of frequencies: 1-35Hz;

•Maximal acceleration g: 0.5;

•Degree of rigidity: I;

5.5.4.2.Reusable impacts:

•Accelerations g: 3;

•Duration: 2-20 ms;

•Degree of rigidity: 1a.

5.6.Requirements to reliability.

5.6.1.The probability of non-failure operation should be above 0,9.

5.6.2.Average time of restoration of the device is no more 2 hours.

5.6.3.The time between failures is not less 15000 hours.

6.Economic parameters. A possible project cost of designing 500 UAH. Cost of foreign samples makes from 500UAH up to 5000UAH, depending on sphere of application.
