     Introduction:

The aging is characterized by many morphological, functional and exchange shifts. With lived years expression of them is increased, it is a natural measure of aging. However two individuals of the same calendar age or two crates in one organism can sharply differ with age changes. It causes decessity of age indexes more exact than calendar age. In 1926, approaching to decision of this problem, Schmalhausen wrote: "Current of this process aging) is determined actually not by time, and by quality and intensity of influences on unit of weight of the alive substance which has caused answer-back reaction". The biological age is considered as a measure of answer-back reaction or measure of regress alive organism. It is first of all concept of intraspecific distinctions of rate of aging and life expectancy.

In research of age changes pays on itself attention some generality of displays of remote radiation and age pathology. On macromolecular level it is formation of cross sewings, breaks and adducts, on subcellular level it is increase of frequency of chromosome aberrations, accumulation of pigments, swelling and degradation of mitochondria, on tissue level it is replacement of parenchimatose elements by connective tissue, atrophy ones and hypertrophy of other bodies, at a level of complete organism – decrease of reactivity and worker diapason of various regulator and functional systems, driving to decrease of adaptive opportunities and increase of probability of death (Fedorova, Mazurik, 1978).

The analysis of the modern data does not allow to draw unequivocal onclusions about influence of small chronic dozes of ionize radiation on life expectancy of the man, therefore we were set by the purpose to study influence such dozes on biological age of an individual and on a human population as a whole.

     Materials and methods:

As experimental group the inhabitants of villages Cosouti and Egoreni in Soroca district were surveyed, as the control one – random sample of the city dwellers of Chisinau. Biological age (BA) defined on a technique developed in Institute of Gerontology (Academy of medical sciences, Ucraine). The third variant of this technique, used in this work, gives the approached estimations BA and can to appear useful at definition in out-patient conditions, at epidemiological inspections of the large quota etc. (Voitenko, Tokar, Polyukhov, 1984).

This variant of BA was defined with next five volumes:

1.Arterial pressure systolic (APS) and diastolic (APD) measured by the standard technique with the Riva-Rochi device, on the right hand, in a sitting position, three times in 5 min. interval. That measurement was taken into account at which arterial pressure was mininal. The pulse arterial pressure (PAP) is difference between APS and APD, it was expressed in mm of a hg.

     2. Duration of aspiration delay after deep breath (ADB) was measured three times in 5 min. interval, with the stop watch. The greatest volume of ADB was taken into account (in sec.).

     3. The static balancing (SB) was defined at standing on the left leg, without footwear, the eyes are closed, hand are lowered along a trunk (without preliminary training). The SB duration is measured with the stop watch three times In 5 min. interval. The best result was taken into account (in sec.).

     4. Weight of a body in kg (WB) in easy clothes, without footwear. It was measured with balance.

     5. The subjective estimation of health (SEH) was defined with the questionnaire including 29 questions.

Formulae for calculation of biological age (BA):

For men BA=26.985+0.215*APS-0.149*ADB-0.151*SB+0.723*SEH

For women BA=-1.463+0.415*PAP-0.140*SB+0.248*WB+0.694*SEH

The method is developed on the basis of multiple linear regression(Rokitskiy, 1978). The multiple determination coefficient for the given variant equals to 62.9 % for men and 58.1 % for women.

The dosimetric data were obtained with devices DRG-OGT, DVT-06T and DP-5 (The state service "Hydrometeo", Sofroni and Ilchevici, 1996).

     Results and discussion:

The 100 people of control group were tested. All of them earlier did not reside at a zone of ncreased radiation and did not live in Soroca district. The experimental group consisted of the 100 inhabitants of villages Egoreni and Cosouti. Only average mean volumes of chronological and biological age were taken into account because the age subgroups were disbalanced.

The groups were divided to male and female. In the male group the differences between biological and chronological age(chronological minus biological) were 3.8 in the control and 1.8 in experience, in female group 2.0 in the control and 1.2 in experience. Thus, residing in a zone of increasing radiation results to average biological aging, by 2.0 years for men and 0.8 year for women, the mean for men and women is 1.4 years. Investigation of this question for larger samples would allow to apply the specified parameter as one of bioindicators of radionuclide pollution of an environment.
