Brief biography:

Childhood

I was born on a cold, snowy winter morning of January 9, 1987. This probably explains why I have a great health; ever since I was a child I felt that winter was something I could relate to. My parents loved me a lot. My mother, Selitskaya Irina, was teaching music, and my father, Selitskiy Yuriy worked for the mine. I was born in Donetsk, where I lived all through my youth. I have a brother, his name is Selitskiy Danil. I was raised in an atmosphere of family love and comfort. I was always a curious and restless child. I went to several kindergartens, where I learned how to be friendly and cheerful. My best childhood memories are about cake eating parties, family vacations by the sea, and traditional New Year Eves surrounded by family.

Adolescence

As all of my friends I went to school when I turned 7. For the first 3 grades my teacher was Alexandra Milenkaya. She cemented the cornerstone for my temple of knowledge. She loved us and taught us with a true belief and hope for us. Sometimes we would get told of for some tings; however, she was always fair. The person I remember the most from the middle-school years is Rosteckaya Sofia. She loved us, but wouldn’t show it too often; she was getting us prepared to work and be serious. My teacher of Russian, Lomako Nina, history, Zaporojec Ann, Dubel Olga, and the teacher of physics all deserve to be mentioned. Overall, all of my teachers were great people, and really put their souls into us. For 9, 10, and 11th grade I went to Donetsk Technical College. I was lucky with my teachers there as well. I would like to thank Siroijko Svetlana, my teacher of Russian language and literature; Blajite Vanda Romualdas, teacher of math and geometry; and Ignatova Clara, our beloved class teacher. All people in my school life were nice; my classes were very friendly, in both school and college. By best friends still are classmates from school and college. We have class reunions often. My parents nurtured me from the very early childhood. I was enrolled in judo classes since the kindergarten, and I kept taking them all the way through 8th grade. I achieved great results; competed and won prizes. Starting from the 3d grade I also took drawing classes at the Palace of Children Arts. When I was 9 I entered musical school ¹2, the class of trumpet. Music classes opened the world of music for me. I was introduced to the work of many great composers. In both school and college I participated in shows, playing the trumpet. I began to learn English since the 3rd grade, as my aunt teaches it. As a sophomore student at the university, I passed international ESL examination of Cambridge University, conducted in Ukraine with the support of the British Council. Since I had a very busy childhood and adolescence, I simply cannot be idle now. I ride a bike; go swimming; study literature, both professional and fictional. I also continue to learn foreign languages. Also, I prefer active kinds of leisure.

Youth

College helped me to choose the university and the specialty, since I studied economics there. I was always interested in world economy and ways to improve it. That is why in 2004 I entered Donetsk National Technical University, the faculty of economics and management. I studied Economics of the Enterprise. As I studied it, I realized that I chose my profession correctly. I was learning more about what I was genuinely interested in. Again, I was lucky with my class and the instructors. I still keep in touch with many of my classmates. I want to thank Usacheva Tatyana, Panfilova Tatyana, Krapivnickaya Svetlana, Saigina Tatyana. I’m also very thankful for math classes by Kosilova Elena and Tkachenko Lubov, and I would like to express gratitude to my research coordinator Bondareva Iryna. In 2008 I have earned a Bachelors Degree in Economics of the Enterprise. I had an internship at Donetsk Scientific Research Institute of Colored Metals. I continued my education to earn a Masters Degree from Donetsk National Technical University in Management of Innovational Activities. My favorite subjects were economics, economic diagnostics, management, and innovations, as they all relate to current processes in the world economy. Fortunately, our life is very rich and multi-sided. In addition to education, any professional needs to have a good personality. I was raised in a spiritual atmosphere and I try not to let my self treat other people negatively. I base relationships on moral laws that have honesty, friendliness, patience and conflict solving as their basis. I’m developing myself as a good citizen that can relate to other’s position without being confined to my own views. I base my life of Christian values.

Future

In the future I want to be successful, lucky, rich, and fulfill myself as a profession, useful no only to the company I would work for, but the entire society. Obviously, anyone’s future holds unexpected events and surprises. I want these events and surprises to be pleasant, joyful and interesting!
