"Development of the economy energy mode of smelting steel"

    Introduction

     In a difficult economic situation which was folded lately in Ukraine, for enterprises one of methods to hold out afloat there is reduction of prices of producible products. Every kind reduction of consumption of electric power and increase of the productivity of equipment is needed for this purpose. Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) are the most powerful users of electric power, in this connection it is needed to try to decrease their energy consumption.
    Their mass distribution and use requires the specified going near the analysis of power descriptions with the purpose of optimization of process of production of metal and decline of energy consumption.

     Actuality of theme

    In a kind a sure and forward price advance on energy resourses, especially on natural gas, the task of decline of their expense becomes not only àêòóàëüíîé but also in some measure strategic.

    Purpose and tasks of work

    

  1. To carry out the analysis of the energy-technological modes of melting on EAF different enterprises ;
  2. The chart of electric trayding is analysed EAF in the conditions of LTD. «Elektrostal'» (Kurakhovo);
  3. To execute the calculation of the circular graphs of the stove transformer;
  4. To create the forms of automatic re-calculation of the circular graphs of the electric mode depending on primary tension of transformer EAF;
  5. To develop the sets of charts of rational input of electric power;
  6. To develop the chart of the rational use of wall gas-oxigen gas-rings;
  7. To develop the chart of work of devices of the oxygen blowing out;
  8. To develop the system of insufflation of powdery coke;
  9. To develop the simplified automated system of estimation of the chosen mode of conduct of melting.

         About Development of the economy energy mode of smelting steel

        Rational use of power of arcs in EAF in a great deal determined a rightness and exactness of task of the necessary electric mode a stove. The task of parameters of arc digit is carried out by control and maintenance at required level of certain electric parameters of stove: currents of arcs, tensions, power-factors, complete phase resistances et cetera Thus currents of arcs are main managed a size, therefore during work of stove very substantially to know dependence on the current of other electric, heating engineering and economical indexes EAF at the set value of the second tension. In production terms always try to work on maximal (complete) power. Regulating the secondory tension U2 or second current of I2. With an increase I2 diminishes U2, power and length of arc, ñîsf. In the period of melting it is necessary to work on the high second current and low second current. However with appearance of steady liquid bath high ñîsf will result in the unsteady burning of arc and as a result decline of the power entered in bath. From it is here possible to draw a conclusion that the period of slovly melting of wells must be conducted on middle length of arc with ñîsf not higher 0,86. The further melting is conducted on the maximal second tension, power and length of arc. Task of this period as quick as possible to melt a charge. After settling of charge and «opening» of walls of stove work on long arcs is impermissible from possible ïðîãàðà of the water cooled elements, therefore in it a period must be reduced second tension and to promote the second current.

        Thus, at the choice of positions of the electric mode (number of the stage of transformer and stage of current) on the circular graphs of transformer it is necessary to conduct melting on optimum high power to shut out the protracted exceeding of complete power here. For every period on the circular graphs of transformer and table of accessible positions of regulator the arc of certain length and power gets out for every period of melting for lighting of arc, melting of wells, forming of general meltings mass and polishing of the separately taken basket.
