Autobiography
Childhood
It was a severe snowy winter… One of the coldest winter nights I decided that my time to be born had come… It was a night on December, 30th, 1986. My birth became the best and long-awaited New Year's gift for my parents, as I was a first child in family. It was in small Greek settlement Razdolnoye that is in Starobeshevsky district of Donetsk region. My parents came there after my mother had graduated from university and got assignment to work in Razdolnenskaya school.
- My mother, Helena Daikun, was born in 1963. She is a teacher of biology and the deputy director of studies. She graduated from biological faculty of Donetsk National University.
- My father, Valery Daikun, was born in 1960. He is a senior master of auto-transport department. He graduated from faculty of mechanisation and electrification of agriculture of Lugansk National Agrarian University.
From the first day I have been surrounded with love and care of my parents. They are remarkable, the best in the world! Though I practically do not remember this period of my life, but I can imagine it thanks to a large quantity of the photos made by my daddy. From the stories of my parents, I grew inquisitive, reasonable, quiet child and constantly demanded attention and communication with me. I liked listening tales, looking through magazines and drawing. When I was 2 years old I talked without defects.
In 1987 we moved to the village Petrovskoye near the town Komsomolskoye of the same district, that is my mother’s native village. One year later there was one more girl in our family – my younger little sister Maria. We spent all childhood together, and till now we are inseparable.
In 4 years I together with my sister went to a kindergarten where my grandmother, Antonina Donme, was a manager and is still now. It was very interesting to learn something new there, to communicate with the children of the same age, to prepare for study at school.
Perhaps, it’s the end of story about preschool years.
School
In 1993 I went into the first form of Petrovskaya school. Helena Bespalko was my first teacher. At once the whole class became fond of her. It was pleasant to study for me: it was interesting at the lessons, and I didn’t have any problems with homeworks. From the first form mathematics became my favourite subject and this favor grew and got stronger each year. Besides learning I liked to participate in school actions, competitions, holidays. At leisure time I liked drawing, reading and playing with sister and friends.
In 1995 there was an important event in my life – I went into the 1st form of Komsomolskaya children's musical school on a piano class. Music-master Helena Kruchinina influenced strongly not only my musical development, but also my development as a person, and I am very grateful for it. When I was studying at musical school, I played in ensemble with my sister, and it was very interesting. I had a good ear for learning music, but no more than that. But, nevertheless, it was pleasant to study at musical school for me. I graduated from it with an honor, and understood that the success is only 20% of talent, and the rest 80% consists of work.
Besides knowledge in music I received one more very important experience during training at musical school – ability to plan the time in such a way as to do everything that is planned. It should be told that at this time the children's period of my life came to the end and I started to grow up, but I don’t regret for it.
Let’s return to the comprehensive school. I learned there about the existence of great number of various sciences. Biology, English and computer science were added to the list of my favourite subjects. The period of my active development started from that time.
Mathematics was still on the first place among my favourite disciplines. I visited with pleasure mathematical optional class «The Equations, inequalities and their systems. Logic construction of geometry» which was conducted by the teacher of mathematics and computer science Olga Jorza.
At free time I continued practicing in music and sometimes I visited dances which were pleasant for me too. I liked to read literature on psychology and personal development, I was interested in the informative and encyclopaedic literature. I always liked to spend time with friends and contemporaries, and now I don’t understand the life without it.
At the senior school I studied in a profile form for natural sciences and mathematics. At this time our school got the new modern equipment for computer class. On the lessons of informatics we received the base skills of work with the personal computer and the programming bases in a Pascal language. These studies were pleasant for me, as they were harmoniously combined with mathematical knowledge.
From form to form I passed with certificates of merit, that’s why I graduated from school with a gold medal quite logically. Throughout all study I participated in the subject competitions in mathematics, biology, physics, English and Ukrainian. My achievements in these competitions were the stable 1st place in biology and the 2nd place in mathematics in district round. Several times I took part in the regional rounds of biology competition.
I am very grateful to all teachers of my school who had influenced my development and education, in particular: H.V. Daikun, O. I. Jorza, S.M. Matjushchenko, N.V. Revva, H.V. Bespalko.
Entering the university I was long enough defined with a future specialty and stopped on Computer Ecology-Economic Monitoring. The choice of specialty was affected by several factors: first of all mathematics, computer science and biology, which are combined in this specialty, were my favourite subjects; secondly, the information technology is very perspective and developing area, the future of science and society.
University
In 2004 I became a student of Donetsk National Technical University of faculty “Computer Science” with a specialty “Computer Ecological-Economic Monitoring”. The first course was the most difficult for me – the educational process of university differs very strongly from the school one, so it was uneasy to get used to it. Though the next courses were easier, but as for studying were more difficult to my mind (especially after the 3rd course). Undoubtedly it’s much easier to receive knowledge on senior courses, if you have good knowledge from the previous ones.
During years of studying I got acquainted with many disciplines and branches of knowledge that I didn’t even think of their existence before. I mastered programming new languages: C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, JavaScript, PHP, HTML. I got skills of work in applied packages Matlab, LabView, AutoCAD, STATISTICA, Rational Rose, etc. Several times I took part with reports in a conference «The Computer Science and Computer Technologies»:
- «Features of maintenance of psychological comfort of the trainee with the utilization of information educational technologies on an example of training system «General biology» in section «Innovative technologies in formation»;
- «Studying of possibilities of the automated system of collection and processing of the ecological data «Ecological passport of regions of Ukraine» in section «Telecommunication and Web-technologies, electronic commerce»;
- «The Policy of protection of systems of remote training» in section «The Innovative information technology in formation».
In the co-authorship with my mother, who is the teacher of biology, I worked out the electronic textbook «General biology» that took part in regional competition «Entry into digital future» in a nomination «Development of electronic means of studying» and took the 2nd place.
During learning the most remarkable disciplines for me were the following: “ The discrete mathematics ”(I.A. Nazarova), “The System analysis” (A.I. Andrjuhin), "Databases" (N.S. Kostyukova), “Computer networks” (V.S. Babkov), “Programming bases in the Internet” (D.G.Averin), “System programming” (I.A.Kolomojtseva), “Fractals and compression of images” (V.N.Belovodsky), “Methods, systems and means of computer ecology-economic monitoring” (A.J.Haritonov), “Enterprise Economy” (A.V. Meshkov), “Mathematical environments of modelling” (M.J. Sukhorukov), "Internet technologies" (A.J.Anoprienko) and others. During the study at university I liked some subjects, others not so well, but one thing I know precisely: the university gave me a lot but in spite of the fact that I don’t have enough profound knowledge in many disciplines, I learnt to study independently, to extract knowledge and to use it.
In 2008 I received degree of bachelor (diploma with an honor) and entered the magistracy where I am studying now.
The theme of my master's work is “Research of pollution processes of atmospheric air by data of the automated control posts of Donetsk and Makeyevka region”. My scientific supervisor is Gennady Averin. In this work I plan to carry out the analysis of the data of atmospheric air pollution and to predict the possible level of it in the future. Also it is planned to work out an ecological portal of Makeyevka at which the module of the analysis and the forecast of atmospheric air pollution will be placed.
